Dev isn't totally dead on the original, T3CH is still releasing SVN builds on a fairly regular basis. Current original build is 9.11a1 and I'm sure in not too long of a time, 9.11b2 will be compiled for original.
If there is a version of Opera Mini 5.0 for the Storm, it features tabbed browsing. Can keep your link open in one tab and browse in others. Works on my Curve. It has to be the 5.0 beta though, the older versions don't have tabbed browsing.
There are always two sides to a situation like this. On one side, AT&T corporate is trying to avoid giving away too many benefits and payouts to a division that has declining revenues. As a whole, AT&T might have posted a healthy profit last year, but most of that was from its mobile division...
Decent idea might be an ATI x1650 pro, should be in the $50 area. I been running 2 of them in crossfire for over a year and they do alright at lower resolutions. Video playback is pretty good, although the color (especially reds) was very washed out before using catalyst to adjust the colors. Im...
I would say probably an ATI 3850 or 3870. Gaming wont be tremendous with that high of resolution, but those cares have HDMI with audio passthrough, seems like a very good option for your friend. Plus, the price is very competitive.
3870 so far seems to be the general consensus. Anybody have a valid arguement for an nvidia arguement?
On a side not, its very nice to have options. 6 months ago, this entire thread would of been a moot point. Only reasonable product would have been from nVidia.
Glad to see ATI still has...
Thats what I think I'm going to go with. It's just a hard decision to make, with all the crap products that ATI had put out previous to the 38XX's. All the reviews of the 2900's had totally put me off of buying ATI stuff, especially after the crud performance of the 1650pro's. But that was my...
I'm thinking prices are going to hold steady for a while, at least til a new flagship card comes out. I'm not going to lay out way over MSRP because demand is so high on cards. My budget is pretty set in the $250 area. If my board could do SLI (without hacked drivers) I would consider increasing...
The problem I have is that ANYTHING is going to be a serious upgrade. I should have also laid out the games that I primarily play.
Currently I am playing Hellgate: London (which the dual 1650's actually handle pretty well)
NFS: Pro Street (which I have stopped playing because the vid cards...
Got any reasons why?
I'm leaning more towards the 3850 or 3870 due to having the crossfire upgrade path.
Crossfire did have a significant performance gain when i added the second 1650pro, but two racing turds is still a pile of sh!t
Hey guys. I have spent a lot of time reading through posts here trying to figure out what video card to buy. I'll have maybe $250 to spend on a card and there are so many options now that I'm confused beyond belief. Until the 3850's and 3870's came out, I was dead set on a 8800GT. My system...

Hello all
I have this psu that i pulled out of an old 250 port network switch. Actually, there was 2 in the switch that i pulled out. I have been searching around for specs on it, but i havent really come up with anything. Think i should see about sending it into [H] and see if they can run it...
I work as a graphic designer for a small local newspaper and at work I use Macs for all my design work. I can be very productive on my mac here, mostly because there isnt really anything fun that can distract me. I see many people writing in about how stable OSX is, and others writing in about...
