The Barcelona was already shipped, BUT due to it being a server chip(MUST not error-even with VM), and the TLB Bug problem, it was pulled except to certain clientel.
Hopefully they've found, and have been able to fix the HARDWARE bug.
Re-spin should take care of it, and hopefully it'll be...
You sure?
I've seen VERY little compatibility noted in forum in regards to trying to use AOD on anything other than 790 boards.
Someone said it loaded, but they couldn't clock, and it didn't show everything, etc...
At least one mobo maker has a bios to turn it off IIRC, and the newest AOD allows you to toggle it off as well.
We'll see about those extended delays....
Yes- it was a mistake, NEVER should have been released without fix.. it happens.
Fanboys?
MOST folks will never encounter this issue, not SOME people.
There are SOME people that will encounter this issue(they've stated it's a VM issue- MOST folks DON'T utilize that), but the % is SMALL...
O I certainly want to go to Shakespeare days.
":Where art thou AMD- you must rise from the ashes, and abolish your demons".
No, I don't like going backwards, but Thanks for the suggestion.........
Yeah.. whatever.....
Like the last guy said- Excessive is the word I would use.
If you are going to sit here and act all high and mighty, why don't you do yourself, and the rest of us hardware enthusiasts a favor, and look at the rest of the world and their ways..
Then post it in the...
You can run 128 bit/DC, or run 2x64 bit DC(which shows as single channel for some reason- probably just a bug).
Ganged or Unganged
See here- I asked Macci that question:

As you know, there has been many rumours over the years, where folks think they are actually low-binning higher end chips just to make cheaper stock parts... (Edit- I think ya may have said the same thing...)
Those are probably the "Magic Batches" that folks chase around....
I don't know...
Well, considering that there are only 2 models right now, I know the 9600 is gonna be BE, I don't know about the 9500, but maybe not...
The 9600 is available for $240, the 9500 is $200
Unlocking doesn't guarantee all chips run the same, even though some lower speed chips OC with the best of...
"Supposedly" The BE editions are going to be offered for the same price as the standard models..
There are specific models/Codes that you need to look for- and they have been shown here, and at Xtreme.
As stated in Kyles pre-view, the problem may be retailers jerking prices up due to demand..as...
It's not solved in this chip- this is a B2, B3 is supposed to fix the errata, and be available in Q1.
Kyle himself has stated that he's had one at 3G for awhile, with NO ISSUES at all.
I haven't seen any evidence of the TLB issue in reviews (unless I missed it), probably because it supposedly...
Well, if that Xtremesystems link above is true (from bingo13 on Xtreme), then the 9600BE will be app $240, cuz supposedly the same price as existing/Non BE models..
The $240 is Neweggs current price, which could go down,
Exactly the same?
What?
Where did we have access to NB speeds?
There are many variables that need to be figured out, if ya read the thread, you'll see that.
I understand that Intel fans(and even some AMD fans) feel the need to bash the Phenom chip, but if your going to bash it, at least...

So...what have we found upto now.
K10 has thrown a spanner in our K8 overclocking world...they are NOT the same!
To clock K10 HTT upwards you have to do the following.
1 Find the max NB core clock the CPU will run (this is the CPU NB)
2 Find the max core speed the CPU will run.
3...
Correct- Very Different DVX...
Spend a little time over there, and folks MAY begin to understand it.
I thought it was nice of you not to include Rolleyes. :D
Risky, but if they pull out of this bad time, it could be worthwhile.
Been waiting and thinking about this is well, but I want to see the new batches come out first.
I was under the impression B3 wouldn't be ready for another month or 2(maybe they meant for public availability).
The TLB Errata is fixed on B3 correct?
Guru3D has a 3870 review, in it he overclocks the card to show the FPS difference in only 1 game though- Prey
Between 7-12 FPS gained, depending on the resolution.
