For the last few days I've been dealing with BSODs on Windows 10. Minidumps are pointing to EVGA Precision as the cause. I was using the latest version of their software on Windows 10 Pro version 1803. If you are on Windows 10 and they pushed the update to you, beware of this issue.
Finding an...
Since you all jumped to blaming the victim on the cryptocurrency theft and all, thought you might want to see the person on the other side. Multiple felony counts of grand larceny on the way.

The guy who lost his crypto didn't get "hacked" due to malware or storing cryptocurrency on his phone. AT&T's actions directly led to the theft of his cryptocurrency. The $200 million punitive damage claim is a stretch, I would agree...
Any proof of work coin that isn't dominated by ASICs will do. Right now that means anything other than SHA256 (Bitcoin algo) and Scrypt (Litecoin, Dogecoin algo). Play around with altcoin mining calculators like WhatToMine to get an idea of what your daily revenue will be. You definitely want to...
Anyone who bought the Xbox One X for holiday resale price markup is kinda screwed. They're in stock everywhere. The hype from Major Nelson before the release is now a joke. He was saying 'pre-order this thing because demand is high and they will go out of stock fast'.
In the video he said he...
I installed one of the 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrids in my system about two weeks ago and it's been running great. My only complaint with the card is that there's no RPM control for the fan on the radiator, so when it's sitting there idle the fan is slightly loud.
Haven't thought of any mods for fixing...
Sapphire liquid cooled in stock at the Egg. Get down on it.

Edit: Powercolor version also in stock.

I'm going to keep the enclosure in the retail packaging just in case for warranty reasons. I assume that if I ever needed to RMA the sucker it would have to go back in the enclosure and look like I never tore the thing apart.
The 1080 Ti version I have my eye on is $849.99. You're right, but I've been willing to go with Vega (at SEP price) because I have a 1440p Freesync monitor. May just throw that idea out and get the 1080 and see if AMD can pull their heads out of their asses with the Navi release.
Definitely...
Demand will always outpace supply if AMD only provides FOUR Vega cards to retailers, like Microcenter. I'm not buying their statements about demand. It's pretty clear they just have little to no supply.
Does it matter if we can't even buy the things? This launch is a joke. AMD delayed the release this long just to have cards go out of stock in 10 minutes?
I have a Corsair 750W power supply. Do I need to upgrade this if I want to run a Vega 64 Liquid? Do we know yet, or should I wait to find out on Monday?
ASICs for Ethereum don't exist yet, and probably never will. The VRAM needed to mine Ethereum efficiently is actually pretty high, so the 8GB 480 models should be the best fit.
Thanks for the additional comments everyone.
Yeah, that may help. This slowness has shown up across two desktops running Windows 10 and one laptop running Windows 7. It's not a single computer that I'm experiencing this problem with.
I use Lastpass, uBlock Origin, and HTTPS Everywhere as...
Thanks. Good to know others are experiencing the same thing. I'd definitely prefer to stay with Firefox, but it's been affecting my productivity.
Opera is a branch of Chrome right?
Recently has anyone been experiencing extreme slowness when using Firefox? It's been so bad and, with the number of tabs I keep open (20-30), it's been consuming ~3GB of memory regularly. I keep FireFox on auto-update, so assume this is with the latest versions over the last couple months.
I...
I know you asked for articles, but this might help. Andreas Antonopoulos explains Bitcoin clearly because he's been involved in it so long and has spoken at countless conferences.
Edit: Andreas has a whole playlist of talks selected by him...
Your transaction size wont be larger, it wont even be a full kB that you're currently quoting. Conservative estimate for typical transaction size is 200 bytes.
It's referenced on PG 5, paragraph number 21, of the document attached at the end of the article. I can't seem to copy the text from the document or I would put it here.
The company where I work recently doubled the electric car charging spots available for us to use and they are still all full every day. Currently ~25 spots total.
Definitely an interesting product. Big fail on the fan though. I wouldn't let that 40mm fan anywhere near my living space where my personal desktops reside.
Apparently our hate is fueling their stock price. The stock is at an all time high today...

Is that's what happened to me today? Yesterday I upgraded to 16.12.1 and when I came back to my computer at some point today, the screen wouldn't wake up from the auto power down.
The 2015 holiday box made me mad. Never again. They basically gave you a demo to Life is Strange (only Episode 1) and 30 days of playtime for FFXIV, so it was just a lead in to having you spend more money on Square games. Admittedly, I did play the Lara Croft game for quite a bit.
I have a manual in my Subaru WRX and I'm getting tired of it to be honest. Had to get it replaced earlier this year for $1500 in order to fix a persistent squeaking noise and the clutch action still isn't as smooth as when I first got the car.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo MR is a great choice for...
There's been suspicions for years.
