GTA4 is a poorly coded piece of crap, that's basically why is runs this badly and there no point over analysing why the performance is so poor. We will see posts from users in the next 3-5 years with the latest tech still asking the same question. Hell I could never even complete the game...

It was after flashing the drive, still ridiculous that I needed to use XP to format the drive afterwards though.

Ok, I think i've got round the problem by using my old windows xp cd and formating the drive with that, now windows 7 reads it as a system drive so hopefully should now install. How did microsoft screw this one up? lol

You know a program I can use to clear the drive? this was ment to be a quick re-install and now 1 hour later i'm going nuts.:mad: The exact message it's giving me "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing partition"

I've tried it with both IDE and AHCI but i'ts not accepting it, keeps telling me it's unable to find a partition or something like that after i've partitioned and formated the drive. Whats going on? Shouldnt windows 7 fully support ssd drives and even ahci? :confused:

Thats a really nice case, but the price is far higher then im willing to pay, allot of of system is being put together with spare parts so really not looking to spend that much, just trying to decide on a case for everything.

Thats not bad either, but wouldnt the latest ones ship with a PCIE riser? I would thought that would be standard. Also would this also need the PCIE slot to be the 6th from bottom ?

Too big imo, just looks like a standard case on it's side, I quite like the thermaltake one but I need to figure what exactly I can fit in there , graphics card, cpu cooler that fit in a slim case...etc..

Thats a little more like it, but what would be the best graphics card you could fit in there? any cards designed for slim htpc cases? Is the riser only for PCI and PCIE?, not sure how a PCIE card would fit without it.

Looks decent but looks a little big, basically a full size case on it's side, will have to think about that one. was hoping for something a little slimmer, well as slim as you can get with full atx support.

Sorry, maybe I wasnt clear enough, I can do 4GHz fine, 21*191 with turbo is working great, but whenever I try to push to base clock higher thats when things get unstable, can't even get 196*21 stable even though temps seem fine I agree that 4GHz is fine but I just want to get the most I can...

I can run this at 191*20 with turbo enabled fine with 1.312V, but getting the 200*20 stable is proving allot more difficult. I've tried increasing the vcore as high as 1.38V and QPI at 1.450 but don't really want to go higher. IOH core voltage i've raised as high as 1.26V, does this maybe...

Turbo mode basically just raises your multiplyer by one, so it is overclocking just the same, somewhat limiting though if thats all your going to use.

I guess I could try installing ramsinks on them, im not taking apart the stock cooler though, might want to use it again.

I've tried reinstalling the cooler and it's still failing under stress in furmark, it's installed correctly, theres no other way to install it. Games are still working fine though.

Installed this cooler and noticed the card now fails under full load while running furmark, temps are fine, or at least temps I can measure are fine, is it worth being concerned about? Games all work fine though and I know furmark pushes cards far beyond what any games do.

Considering the N95/N96, anything else I should consider? What is the going price for these phones? looking to buy them outright, no contract. £250-£320 in ebay. Also, I read that there unlocked so I shouldnt have any trouble just swapping the sim card over from my old phone.

Hi, weird issue as title, whenever I install two sticks of memory windows blue screens, yet if tested each seperately and both work fine and past memtest, and different dram slots It's been working perfectly for months and just started acting up today, memory is G.Skill, F2 6400 HZ 2x1GB...

NB is at 1,30, tired upto 1.40 but it makes no difference, using 1406, tried 1703 but it wouldn't boot with any overclocked settings.

This has been resolved, found a neat boot cd over at extremesystems with correct version of software which allowed flash of older bios. :)
