I guess this means I'm going to have to convert everything back over so I can recover all my files and info from my HDD. Man, this bites...
Thanks for telling me what I pretty much knew, but didn't want to acknowledge. :)
My old Sony PC with a P4 was getting pretty sluggish so I went on NewEgg and found what seemed to be a good deal on a MB/CPU combo and some new memory. I figured I'd just install this new combo in my old Sony PC and live happily ever after. Did I mention I'm a retard when it comes to...
I completed a photo editing box a couple months ago and purchased this monitor and PSU for that project. I didn't realize I inadvertently bought two PSU's (the other was a 850W so I used it) so this one has been sitting unopened since I bought it. I bought the monitor and quickly realized I...
If any of you guys that got in on the LP3065 deal decide you don't want to keep it, please let me know as I'd be interested in buying it from you (they are also out of stock).
TIA! :)

It sounds like Toshiba is going to officially throw in the towel this week. Expect Universal and Paramount studios to do the same fairly soon.
What amazes me is that so many die-hards...
Thanks guys for your help, I got it all set now.
My time at home is very limited so I haven't spent much time with this OS yet, but I felt like a fish out of water for the first hour with Vista... I guess I expected the transition to be a little smoother.
Thanks again! :)
I just got my new photo editing box put together and see that the 22" TN panel I have connected to it isn't going to make the cut. :(
I almost pulled the trigger on the 3007 HC from Dell at the end of last month, but decided to wait a couple of days to see if the Feb. "deal" was any better...
I finally finished my first build and installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit today. Vista is new to me... I noticed in the bios that both of my HDDs (150 & 500 GB drives) are showing, but when I installed Vista on my 150 GB Raptor (I want the 500 GB for data storage only), I do not see the 500 GB HDD...
Good stuff, but I think I'd opt for 8 GB of DDR2 800 RAM and the QX9650 processor given your budget and that you don't intend to OC. Should you decide you do want to OC, the QX9650 can do so without any effort.
Also, with 8 GB of RAM, you might want to look at setting up a RAM drive with...
My new MB requires using an USB mouse and I've only used PS2 mice in the past. The only USB mice I've used in the past are the little add-ons used with notebooks, which I find small and annoying. Looking on Newegg, I see there are hundreds listed, but I've never touched any of them. What USB...
This might not be the proper place for this, but since you guys are in the same boat...
I've only used PS2 mice in the past, but I see this board requires using a USB mouse. The only USB mice I've used in the past are the little add-ons used with notebooks, which I find small and anoying...
I just completed a build and I have this brand new PSU left over (I used a 850W instead). The PSU is a COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-750, it's brand new and the box has never been opened (only a couple of weeks old). I believe I still have the receipt, if so, I'll include it with the sale...
I'd suggest trying to find a D80... it's a far superior camera than any of the entry level camera and can be found for around the same price used. With the D80, you can grow into it for a long time to come.
I got sick of picking up kitty litter with a broom as the POS Hoovers I've had do nothing but sand blast my shins. If this thing continues to clean like it did last night, I'm more than happy to pay double for a tool that actually gets the job done. Hell, I spend at least a grand a month on...
Update:
I received the Dyson yesterday. Overall I'm impressed with it as it passes the kitty litter test with flying colors. I also really like the fact that it has the ability to clean right up to the front edge of the vac (also great for corners).
A few of things I don't like about it...
Look around then... Since the D300 came out, the used D200 prices are hovering around $800 to $950, some with extras even.
I just looks very quickly, note the asking prices. Going even lower on ebay. ;)
Example of a great package price...
