I'm not sure which I should plan for. I'm trying to make a decision because I'm going to upgrade my power supply. I don't know if I should get enough power for a single card or cf/sli. Any opinions on this matter?
For some reason, half of my games are no running textures properly. I will set the graphics up to high but will run like it's on the lowest setting. This only started happening yesterday. Battlefield 3 runs perfectly fine on ultra settings, and dolphin emulator runs great for Skyward Sword...
The question I had was, is it normal that Starcraft 2 will only utilize one of the cores? I have been able to utilize both cores in games such as BF3, Skyrim, and Batman Arkham City. Is there anyway to change the settings around in Starcraft or the AMD control manager to fix this?

I was just looking for a medium budget combination of the CPU, Mobo, and RAM. Everything else Ill be taking from my computer I currently have. I havent bought computer parts in awhile, so I was wondering what everyone else recommended.
Ya, sorry about that. 1900x1080. e8400 as stated on my sig. I was looking at the 768mb because it was cheaper but not sure if it is enough video memory.
wow, thank you for that benchmark comparison. i was looking for something like that. seems like the best improvement for my money's worth would be to get a better cpu.
Was looking into getting another HDD for my computer b/c im close to full on my main one. I needed another for mostly just data storage like videos, music, and d/l'd games. Any sugggestions?
So, when i'm running just about any game of mine i get 100% cpu usage on my overclocked e8400 at 4.0ghz. What could be the problem with this? Do i need to upgrade my vid card or cpu? or can it just be something else invovled? even a virus or such
If my video card is running rather hot how can I cool it down a bit. I saw on riva tuner that I can adjust the fan speed, but when i turned up the fan speed it made it hotter. What should i do?

I go and install vista sp1 and then after it reconfigures everything and I get a blue screen. It says there was no hard drive found before windows started for some reason.
I get lag spikes on every game i have played with my new rig: warhammer online and WoW. Fallout 3 though keeps a consistent 60fps. Now wat im think is mayb it is my internet lag and not the computer itself or wat b/c fallout 3 is when playing offline. I did port foward WoW and WAR to see if...
Should i get Ideazon ZBD223 Warhammer Online Keyset or Saitek Eclipse Keyboard for mostly the use to play Warhammer Online with? Or, any other suggestions under $40 or so?
Don't be scared of vista. It is just the stupid people who have problems w/ it. Also, w/ 4gbs of RAM u'll be fine. The only problem I had was watching for compatibilities w/ a 64-bit o/s.
In this video it says to run a stress test for 1hr. Is that actually true? Seems like a long time and would make the cores rly hot. CPU Stress Test Programs
Told ya it won't be near 300. That PSU is <$50 AR so that is a pretty good deal. Most decent PSU's for the pwr u need are around $50. Also, $80 for a processor is the cheapest u can get a dual-core for. If u can't afford it, it might be best to save up a little more. Danny is giving you...
I recommend the p5q pro fr a mobo. It works rly well. Also with all the hardware u need I can only see at the lowest of around $400 not 300. Ya, agreed with triraides.
For a HDD with high RPM's but barely any memory, are they used for just storing games on them so the game will run faster? Like for example the Fujitsu MBA3073NC 73.5GB 15000 RPM 8MB Cache SCSI Ultra320 80pin Hard Drive.
I thought the e7300 has better temps and has more cache. Wouldnt that be more preferable for OC'ing? But, he is not overclocking so he would be better off w/ the e5200. Agreed.
Y does he need that much power? Could easily just use Corsair 450w or BFG GS 550w. Probably could just use the 450w for you rig. Everything hardware guru recommended is great 2.
