The stay at home boredom has created a lot of demand for entertainment (gaming) and collectibles (pokemon cards, sports cards, etc).
That and the 2000 series was a very skippable generation so some 1000 series owners have been waiting like 4 years for a upgrade.

Hi All,
Right now I'm using a 5.1 Home theater system for my PC speakers. I'm using a huge Pioneer VSX-1120 AVR to power my speakers (5 Anthony Gallo ADiva Ti speakers + Gallo TR1D subwoofer). These speakers are small 3" drivers (8ohm) and don't really need much power.
I would like to reduce...
Edit: SOLD!

Sorry I guess the MSI Gaming X is just too big then.
What I did before I bought the cables was take a spare modular 6pin power cable and cut the connector off and used it to test fit. The case closed perfectly, so I was confident the cables would work for me and they did.
It maybe possible...
For taller cards like the EVGA FTW or MSI Gaming X you can get these custom cables to get the cards to work. They sale 6 or 8 pin versions. Not cheap, but they worked.

EDIT: added correct link to 8 pin
According to Newegg specs its not a reference board as it has super alloy 2 (so upgraded power phases and components). It looks to only have 1 8 pin power connector though so not exactly the same as a Strix. Also the strix has 2 fan headers and this doesn't mention that.
I believe its a reference board like the FE, but without the cooler. It says it has 1 8 pin power, Strix has an 8 and 6.
Edit: It says it has better caps and power though so I guess its not a reference board like the FE.
So I upgraded to bios version 1.5 and now I can't disable CSM and boot into Windows.
I'm using the Samsung 950 Pro and with CSM on it can take a longer to boot into Windows. I had it off before it, it would load Windows super fast. Now when I disable CSM, the boot override option that shows my...
It's just lightly pre-overclocked. Shouldn't be a big deal. If you want to return it, don't open the shipping box, bring it back to ups and tell them you are refusing the package. There won't be a shipping charge and it will be return to newegg.
Isn't the SC card just a reference design with an aftermarket cooler? Game issues should be driver/firmware issues that could be a problem for any manufacture. Coil whine is also an issue for the other references cards (Founders edition).
If you don't want coil whine your best odds are probably...
It's just a mistake. It was correct before with the Classified and FTW at the top and saying Great. I guess they messed up when they removed the classified from that chart.
Asus is the best bang for the buck. You get better power phases and cooler for only $620. You have to spend $680 to get better power from EVGA FTW. I ended up ordering the EVGA FTW though because it was actually available to preorder.
So I got the 950 Pro and cloned my old SSD to it. However the bios doesn't seem to see the M2 drive in boot options. Am I missing a configuration setting somewhere? The drive is visible and working in Windows.
I currently have a SX500-LG and ordered the Silverstone SFX 600w. I'll let you know what I find. The 500w definitely has some odd random crackling noises.
Does the NCase v4 no longer include any hardware for fan grill? I got mine last week, went to build my PC today and noticed I don't have the accessories the website shows.
Thanks for the info. I guess the H100i is the simple choice.
I'd love to get a more powerful cooler like the H220 though. Maybe I'll look into a custom loop.
For those of you using this board with an Ncase M1, what are my AIO watercooling choices? I was thinking of a H100i or H100i GTX, but will a Swiftech H220x work or will I need a custom bracket?
I like the surface book too, but don't like the configurations available right now. If you want 512GB of storage you need the top end i7 model at $2699. How about an i5, non-dGPU, 512GB for $1899.
These are the main components I plan on buying for my M1 v4. Will the AIO watercooler and PSU fit fine?

Cole Haan is stylish, but the durability isn't that good. For sub $150 they are okay, if you like the style. If you want a sub $150 durable business shoe Ecco's are durable, though maybe not the highest fashion.
RAM drive can still be useful for video editing. Tekzilla did their ultimate video editing machine build and noted that their rendering times were 20% when using a ram drive vs SSD.
