    Corsair HX620, buzz not squeal

This may be specific to the Core i7 processors, but not sure. Look for it under Advanced CPU Settings. As far as what C1E and EIST do........I have no idea.

    Corsair HX620, buzz not squeal

I did some tests today and I believe I found the solution to my problem. I tried a Xigmatek 650W PSU we had laying around at work. I got the exact same squeal, reproducable in the exact same way I did with the HX620, but about 6dB down in volume. I had another GTX260, so I switched it out...

    Corsair HX620, buzz not squeal

Well, I have a different PSU I can try at work to see if it squeals with the same set-up. If it does, my work also has another GTX260 I can try to see if it persists when changing to another card of the exact same type. I probably should have done these tests before I RMA'd my HX620, but oh...

    Corsair HX620, buzz not squeal

I just spent $20 to have my brand new HX620 RMA'd. It was doing the same sqealing as others have mentioned. I have a GTX260, but I tried booting into safe mode and the squeal was still there (even more prevalent), so I don't think it is the video card causing it. I don't get what the deal...

    Modular PSU Recommendations

Thanks for all the replies. Thanks especially to Dave for the information on GTX 260 current draw. Was this something you have tested yourself or can the information be found in documentation somewhere? Were the figures you listed for the newer 55nm cards? I've decided to just go with...

    Modular PSU Recommendations

I need some recommendations for a good modular ~800 watt PSU for around $150. I'm planning on building a Core i7 system with 1 GTX 260 initially, but eventually plan to run another in SLI. I saw the thread where some people said that the 620 HX could potentially handle a system like this...

    BenQ V2400W In Depth Review

I also just received my G2400WD from ncix. Like you I have a dead/stuck? pixel near the center of my screen. It is a light blue color on white background (hardly noticable) and a dark blue/black color on red background. What is the difference between a dead and stuck pixel? I've also tried...

    BenQ G2400W

I just received an e-mail from NCIX saying the G2400WD is backordered.......It said in stock when I ordered it. Oh well, if I find a better deal between now and when it comes in stock I'll just cancel the order.

    BenQ G2400W

I finally bit the bullet and ordered the G2400WD from NCIX.com. I had hoped to get it a little cheaper but $320.00 isn't bad considering that includes the dead pixel replacement, shipping, and insurance. Hopefully I have no issues with it.............it should be a nice upgrade from my 19"...

    New Asus 24s!!!

I'd like to know how this compares to the BenQ G2400WD. I'm still kinda leaning towards the Benq because of the 1920x1200 display. Right now, however, the Benq is $60 more expensive.
