I was born in '77...never forget the feeling of walking into Zayers in 1981-1982ish and seeing Atari 2600 display showcasing pacman...blew our fucking minds!
Second time gaming blew my mind was playing super mario brothers on the NES on my parents living room tv.
Third time gaming blew my mind...
I threw the Nitro 7900xtx in the 7950x3D rig and am getting 200-240 fps in BF1 (with all settings @ medium) and OMG so much fun and smooooooooooooth! I could probably poke and prod a couple settings up to high and ultra with minimal fps loss, but am having way to much fun with it to bother...
Buy what makes you happy. Everybody's use case is different.
OLEDs slightly to dim for me to be my everyday driver, and 1440p is too soft for my tastes.
If 50% of your use case is work productivity or web surfing then 57"
If you don't mind 1440p and dimmer oled then the 39"
I think the 21:9...
Man I hear that....and a whole lotta people got screwed on bad 57 G9s and I would be lying if I said I was not nervous over durability.....but DAMMIT I LOVE THIS DISPLAY!!! 240hz dual 4k UW is a wet dream for work productivity.....and for gaming I tend to choose it over my 240hz 4k oled 75% of...
I like to play Halo MCC, Battlefield 1, Doom Eternal, DOOM BFG, etc, etc....there are a shit load of older good games that are a blast to play on this thing @ 240hz!
Like I said...it doesn't mention 240hz support which it may do since it's a knock off of g9 neo 57....everybody knows it does 120hz, even my grandma knows that and she's dead
The lack of mention of 240hz may in fact be because it's cheap trash and actually doesn't support it or once again it's...
lol....I have 4090 in main rig.....and 7900xt in work prod rig....this fiddy sevens caused me to send the 7900xt back and step up my game to a 7900xtx nitro....but work prod rig has an 8700k lol....now im gonna have to upgrade the processor and ram in that pc haha shoot me now!
Played some classic halo MCC (H3 & H2A) matched with a 7900xt and wow this is so much fun...smooth 240hz native resolution!
If your a classic halo fan....paired with this 57 is feels like a super awesome immersive arcade game!
This 57 at native res + 240hz really is a super awesome and unique...
Man...I absolutely adore this 57! Just played a round of Battlefield 4 @ native res 200hz (highest game will go)....and OLEE CHIT, I need a cigarette now and I dont even smoke! PTSD hitting me haaaaard!
The 57s great! My favorite display for work productivity and gaming.
I went all in, got a 7900xtx and dumped my 4090 / 4k240 oled
That 49s got a weak curve, weak resolution and dim oled.
