Hi
Got an ASUS HD7970 DirectCuII 7970 with EK waterblock for sale
Here is a pic
Comes with this as well so you can have Ports up and down, Home made.
I am UK based, So this is for sale in the UK and surrounding places only.
The DirectCUII is Voltage unlocked to 1.4v if you use...
Apart from thats not how SLI or Crossfire is designed, It will never be like that.
Also AMD doesnt brute force frames... When it comes to quality AMD are miles ahead than Nvidia.
They are also Value of money.
Wont be moveing the rad to outside, would increase chance of damage.
I think i will go for new plates made and secure a low restriction air filter over the intake hole
Things i will be doing to the case after much thinking.
I Hate it when case designers think of using mesh, Its horrid and it blocks airflow to an extreme extent. Alas i know why they use it, its there to "stop" dust.
This case has a fine mesh AND a dust filter built into all the mesh...
hey all
I decided i wanted to change from my FT02 to a small case again, i saw the Prodigy and instantly said to myself.. I WANT THAT!
I have called this "Simples" simply because i have decided that i will NOT be modding the case if i can absolutely help it, I may cut some grills out for...

I was sure that theese ones on the 7970 were solid ones tho.
Any way to remove the stock chokes and put my own on if i find the correct spec ones?
Im an experianced soldering man
Well the retailer tried to tell me that all new graphics cards make this noise and its perfectly normal...
I simply said no they dont and i will keep returning them untill i get a silent one :P
Mines the Bog standard Refrence version.
It buzzed when browseing websites under the scrolling action and in any game.
It shouldnt happen, my 6950's didnt do it
Hey all
I just replaced my Two 6950's with a nice new 7970 from HIS.
But unlike my 6950's which had a VERY quiet buzz (had to have ear close) this has a very loud buzz which i can hear from across the room.
My PC is silent, and is also silent most of the time in games and the 7970 has...
Ok well, Seems according to OCZ i cant mod the cables or i lose my warrenty.... Even if they are moduler because the design is required to make the PSU perform better.
So i have a Bunch of High qulity braided extenstion cables on the way only 20cm each so all good :)
cant wait for the new case...
Ouch @ the scar on your childs neck.
I would ask what was wrong for her to go through that but i dont want to pry. :)
Love the build, always wanted to do the same but i like being able to move my rig lol

if you manage to get some can you link me to where you got yours? (as long as it works)
Hey
I just had the OCZ ZX 1250w delivered.
Seems there are some issues:
1. Cables are far to short
2. Upon inspection it seems that there are some large caps hidden under the heatshrink on the ATX 24pin cable.
When it comes to my PC EVERY new PSU MUST be sleaved with each wire...
hey peeps
Has Anyone tried or seen someone else remove the 3H AG coating from a Large LCD Monitor such as the Dell 3007, 3008 or 3011, Hazro 30"?
I have the Hazro 30" and the AG coating is Very very annoying, makes whites look muddy.
I have seen people remove the Ag coating from smaller...
