I'm looking to update the cpu in my server from an EPYC Milan 7313 to an EPYC Milan 7573X, and would like to know if my Gaming VM performance will be similar to the rest of the X3D lineup?
Got it. Mine used to run in a Server 2016 VM with 12 cores and 16GB ram. It was mainly there because of gpu passthrough. OS was on 60GB of SSD cache in system in sig.
I'm here because my Google-fu turned up the same problem but no workable solutions. I'm trying to install windows 7 Pro on a new build after the old version would seize up after a few minutes of use. During the install the system would freeze up and become unresponsive at the Extracting Files...
Not too concerned about aesthetics as the case will not be windowed. I'm currently holding off for bit as dropping $ for the 5960X hurt my bank just a bit, also curious to see what Gigabyte might have.
In my haste to finally complete my 4p (big thanks to Musky), I dropped a chip and bent a few pins in the socket. Does anyone have any experience fixing this or do I have to ship it off to be fixed?

Also if anyone needs more reason to ramp up, they have 6180's for under 400.
