Not quite following, but I am doing nothing different. Scaling 800x600 to a 16:10 screen. Before it was 1680x1050, now its 1920x1200. Not quite sure yet... ill keep fiddling around.

DVI-D Cable Fixed it, had vsync left in the let the application decide setting and for games like cs 1.6, that mean ON. mouse lag was terrible. DOH.

The OEM version with 3rd party software like chromapure is so expensive. I wonder what the differences really end up being on LED displays like this when using a newer LED compatible colorimeter vs a standard colorimeter that was meant for use with ccfl backlighting.

Think it is worth getting? I have a full array led backlit HDTV with a PC HDMI source atm, and also planning on getting a pair of these dell monitors in the near future. I hear the software is pretty meh tho, similar to the older model puck.

I wouldn't even bother comparing your samsung hdtv to this in terms of gaming performance. I know exactly what you are referring to and that amount of input lag will not be present with this panel.

Thanks for the input. I know the 2233rz is TERRIBLE in terms of PQ and especially colors. I just cant decide if 60hz is gonna mess with me FPS gaming wise at this point.

Yea I assumed the 2412 and the 2311 would likely have similar input lag numbers since they are both similar specced eIPS panels with just different backlight arrangements. I just dont know if I can go from my 120hz 2233rz which I have been using for almost 2 years back to 60hz. Colors and...

If you dont mind going AMD, a pair of 6950 2GB's might be right up your alley. Any nvidia solution aside from the useless gtx 590 (slower and hotter than the 6990) will require a minimum of 2 cards.

Doubt it, I have a 2233rz and have been using it for 18 months or so. My friend has the viewsonic and we've both played CS 1.6 at both places. We both tend to prefer my samsung over the viewsonic. TN panel tech and 120hz just hasnt really changed much since we started seeing these 120hz...

no such thing. they are 60hz w/ interpolated frames, like ghost frames to smooth things out in a sense.

I've been debating either grabbing a planar sa2311w and a dell u2311h, or a pair of sa2311w's, or a pair of u2410s. Cant make up my mind whether I want to keep 120hz since I am not playing as many FPS games competitively anymore.

Does the Planar support 120hz in regular 2D gaming ? i dont use 3D at all as I cant stand it, but the Planar's manual only shows 120hz being available in 3D Mode.

How do these monitors fair in terms of colors once you calibrate them? I have heard both bad and good, someone else said the preset you were on either enable or disabled color control.

I have had no issues w/ 1.41v on my 2600k. How much vdroop are you seeing during p95 load ?
