I've seen a lot on complaints about quality problems with LG panels, both IPS and TN. Are there any stats on what percentage have problems? Does anyone know what the actual cause of tinting is? How far off are they? Are they bad from day one or do they wait until the return period is over?

Can someone tell me what panel (make and model number) is used in the Dell ST2220T? Is the panel true 8-bit or is it 6-bit plus dithering? The panel does pretty well in the reviews, but the stand is lame and there is no VESA mount, so I would have to kludge something up to get it where...
