I feel you. From what I've seen it looks to be a proper remake of the original but with the element of RE4 TPP. I'm not mad about it. RE4 had great gameplay. This remake should be a treat. Here's to hoping the PC port will be on par.
A few things here. 1 - most ultrawides aren't the best for productivity, from what I understand. For content creation you probably wont have enough comfortable space to have multiple windows open and for coding/programming you're better going off with a vertical monitor. If you do editing...
Recently upgraded to an X34 which is 100Hz after staying with 60Hzs for over a decade. It makes gaming so much more enjoyable. Everything is so silky and smooth that I even catch myself just moving the mouse/camera around in game because it feels great. I really want to try something like 120Hz...
On the fence about getting this. What does the micro transaction situation look like? Did they say there will be game changing rewards? If it becomes P2W then that's a deal breaker.
Thanks. I'll try a different set of drivers first. Temps are normal when I am playing and it doesn't crash like that. Just played some BF1 and temps never esceeded 84.
Last night out of no where my Titan's fan jacked up to 100% and my screen went black. I hard restartted, shrugged it off and went back to playing 4 hours of WoW. It just happened again. Everything about the card is stock including fan curves. Is this card on its way out? This card has been in...
I mean, I get it. The Ti is the obvious choice over the current Titan. So why continue to manufacture a card that is obsolete in terms of price/performance. Nvidia really knows how to milk an architecture.
I take it you mean is the game 100% yet? Short answer: no.
As with most emulators performance is indicative of your CPU strength. But there are many issues out there for those with AMD GPUs. A modern quad core should do you fine.
This. The game is meant to run at 30 FPS. Even top of the line...
They've had BOTW running since a week after it released. Still lots of issues with the game, even with the latest CEMU release (currently only available to patrons until April 9th). Emulation is legal. Whether or not you buy the game comes down to morals.
I'll give that a shot. Thanks.
I didn't try that. I only tried turning on the Steam Controller when the game was already launched through SteamVR. The game didn't recognize it. Thanks for the tip.
I share your concerns. I have an X34 and Titan XP and not all current titles can maintain 100FPS maxed out. I am considering getting a Ti, since its the same chip as the Titan and SLIing them to prepare for upcoming demanding games. But as RamonGTP said, support has been on decline nowadays and...
I bought Chronos foolishly without knowing that I need a gamepad to play.
I have a Steam Controller and a DS4. Can either of those work with the game so I can avoid buying and XB1 controller?
Any games that are more fulfilling than an "experience"? Having lots of fun in H3VR and Hover Junkers but I want something with progression or a story or adventure. The only two things that are satisfying that for me right now or Vivecraft and Doom 3 (which the controls are broken for me; using...
Well I did. Proud owner of a Vive. Set it up last night and played Portal Stories. It's pretty freaking fantastic. I wish I had downloaded The Lab first but Portal was the first one I saw for free and couldn't wait.
Any recommendations for games to consume my upcoming 3 day weekend?
Alright. That's it. Going to the Window's store today and picking up a Vive on the 6 month financing plan.
Last question. Minimum requirements for room scale is 6.5'x5' I would be working with a 5'x4' area at a minimum. Is this a problem?
Do you know when that will go into effect? I couldn't find any information on it on the Vive website.
Ah the Rift is so tempting now. I hear great things about the ergonomics of their controllers but there is something unsettling about the product. I also dislike their association with Facebook.
Literally on the fence about getting a Vive. Was ready to pull the trigger once the tax returns come in. This is a game changer. I feel kind of a Vive fanboy even though I have never used either product. Will HTC match these prices?
Great post. Thank you for your input.
I don't know if an updated head-strap assembly would interest me. My headphones are kind of bulky but I have never used a Vive or any HMD for that matter so I can't say whether or not using third party headphones would bother me. I keep hearing great things...
If it's just the controllers then I can live with that. I'm more concerned with updated screens on the head unit. Wireless doesn't interest me so the only other factor would be improved tracking ability. Is that something that needs improvement?
I really want a Vive. It seems that V2 could posses a lot of nifty and worthwhile updates but rumors project a 2018 release. What do you guys recommend?
Alas, OCing the memory did not work. I can however get the game to run very smoothly when I don't run into those weird dips. I also noticed that the dips occur when I'm viewing a lot of objects from a far distance. My frames are normally 80-98 with 100% GPU usage and when I get the dips it goes...
That was one of the tweaks I was going to try. I was going to enable XMP for 3200MHz and test. Currently have XMP disabled in preparation for OCing so my RAM is running at 2133MHz at the moment.
Thanks for the advice. Yeah, turning down settings doesn't help. It seemed pretty clear to me that it was something CPU-wise as one core was at 60-80% usage while the others were in the 40's. Figured a 6700k would be strong enough. Maybe I'll start OCing it and see if it helps. I've looked at a...
Hey guys, I just started playing FO4 after building my new rig a few months ago. I modified it to run at 3440x1440 and I cannot for the life of my find a way to maintain over 60 fps in a city. I'm still in the very beginning of the game at the power plant for one of the first side quests and...
GPU isn't OCd. Monitor is. I've reinstalled the drivers a few times.
I thought Gsync was suppose to prevent tearing though? When I enable an FPS cap I get tearing.
Sort of out of nowhere I have been getting some stuttering when playing light games like Rocket League and CS:GO. In NV control panel I have Gync enabled and Vsync disabled. I read that Nvidia recommends having Vsync on with Gsync but I don't want the increased input lag. So both games are...
Exactly what KIAman said. It's just like Skylake. After you stabilized your core clock, match the cache multiplier and retest. If it's stable, great. If not drop it down 1x and try again,
