Keep your q9550. It is still a beastly processor. Depending on what res you are playing at I say go nvidea for 1080p or get a 7850 or 7870 for higher res.

I feel like wasd is very useless. With rdfg, you get more buttons and easier access to them. More pinkey and thumb keys too.

I am currently playing on an old dell monitor. I am hoping to get one for myself and run plp. If you do really enjoy 120 hz then you should go for an oc model.

Most play with the default wasd, but if you are someone who does not tell me about how you play! I mostly play with rdfg, but I am trying out some new stuff for csgo. I am using wer for jump crouch shoot, d for backward, space for forward, and mouse left and right for strafing. I am still toying...

If you game more than you type, get a mouse. If you type more, a mechanical keyboard will be amazing. Look for older cherry models on ebay. I got my mx8100 keyboard for $25 usd (20 euros) shipped.

I think that you should consider buying used parts. The price/performance ratio is much better. You can get a i7 920 for around 120. I got my i7 930, 6gb of ram, and asus p6x58d-p for $210 shipped.

What would a killer price be?

I can buy a 7970 reference with a swiftech full cover block and backplate for 450. Should I go for it? I will be playing at 2560x1440. How much could I sell the block for?

What about the x120e? Is that any good?
