Winrar will almost do one click - use the right click on the file and choose "extract to <name>". It will create a folder with the same name as the zip and extract everything into the folder. If you do not have the context menus, you can enable them in Winrar's preferences.
Just curious if you have tried a program like Winrar to see if it will extract them?
If you have, there is always "Print Screen", paste and save (you got time, right?). ;)
Stuff is at C:\WINDOWS\provisioning\schemas. The files I have are these:
Looking at the dates, stuff has been there a while. I had a VPN set up in 2004. Could it be related to that?
Win XP Pro - Looking thru my HDD, and I run across a "provisioning" folder. Inside is a "schemas" folder. Inside here are a bunch of *.xdr files. Not hidden files or folders. Anyone know what provisioning schemas are? I dont remember seeing any of this before. Might have just missed it though. I...
Dont know where or if Newegg has them. I get most of my fan stuff from Nexfan. They have your adapters here. These have the RPM wire also. Nexfan has $6.99 flat rate shipping - maybe you want to order your fans there.
I will look around the house and see if I have any laying around. I'll PM...
$90, $95, $100, whats the difference? Budgets are made to be blown, that way you can justify not cutting the budget next time. And the 120mm fan is a definite plus. I had one in my old case and I loved it - very quiet and moves lots of air.
Kinda odd, but I got a call today on a dead PC...
Yeah, I've come to realize this. Now I am just looking for excuses to buy something. My motherboard is maxed out - no room to grow. I dont have enough for my new rig, nor can I justify a new rig. I CAN justify upgrading marginal equipment.
That Neopower 480 2.0 looks kick ass! And it can be...
My next system will most likely be a 939 - after the prices drop. I need to buy a truck first. I dream about both....
I followed your link - I used that years ago on one of my earlier builds. I was actually looking for that page - thanks for the link! Unfortunately it looks like the...
What would you guys recommend then? Need something half way quiet. I've heard good things about the Antecs, mixed reports on the Enermax, and more or less "cult" raves on the Fortron units - those that have em say they are one of the best. What do I look at?
Damn. I was hoping to spend some more money. That's OK, at least I can get some sleep tonight. Maybe I'll buy one anyway - just for the extra headroom. Thanks for the info lith.
How do you know how much power you will need when purchasing a PSU? Yeah I know, check the ratings on all the stuff, add it up, VxA=W, blah blah blah, there you have it. My problem is that I have been adding stuff to my rig over time, and I just dont know what kind of power my stuff will draw...
What kind of internet issues do you have? No connection? Are you on broadband or dial-up? I had a friend who couldnt connect his broadband for anything after a Windows update. Turns out auto IP and DNS got turned off for some unknown reason. turned them back on, good to go. The other issue I...
I can offer you this: I found the key in my registry. What you do is copy the text below, and paste it into Notepad. Save the file as a text file (.txt). The file name is not important, just call it what you want (i.e. document.txt). Probably save to the desktop for easy access. After it is...
Ok, done deal - bought a card. ZZF had the XFX 6600GT 128M for $124 AR, free ship. Rebate only good thru 7/31, so I jumped. Nice price, card should serve me well. Thanks for all the help!

EDIT: BTW, the 6800 linked at the...
Dude, the 6800NU - holy crap! Back in the day I could have bought 4 cars for that kind of cash. Not nice cars mind you, but still. Way more power than I need right now. Still looking aorund, buying something next week. Input is appreciated!
Thanks for the Toms link - I remember seeing that a quite a while ago, but couldn't remember where (dont really hang at Toms).
The 9600XT is a nice card, I just wanted something a bit, well, more. I looked thru the 3Dmarks, and the 6600 and the 9600XT are very close, but both cards get...
That PowerColor 9800 is a great price - not a Pro, but that's OK. Refurbs are OK on some things, but I dont think I would buy a refurb vid card. Especaially a 9800. I heard those things have artifacting problems under load. True?
The XFX 6800 - I looked at that one. Rebates are not that...
Looking to upgrade my Ti4200 - no reason, just want to be a little more current.
Budget is around $150
I have never been a huge gamer, though I do occasionally play some FPS's
I dont generally keep up on the latest/greatest video cards, but I am willing to learn
I have read the stickies...
I still got my first computer....
They didn't have computers when I was a kid. I remember when we got our first FAMILY calculator - it would add, subtract, multiply AND divide.
Hey, it was cool back then....
Ran across this, thought someone might be interested. Better-than-free D-Link DVG-1402S/L 10/100M router AFTER REBATE at Chief Value. All said and done they end up giving you the router and $.51 . Good thru June 30. Enjoy.

My Alpha PAL 6035 heatsink. While I have changed fans a few times, the heatsink has been on all 5 AMD machines I have built for myself over the last 5+ years, including my current XP2000+. I do believe this is about the end of the proverbial road for this one - I run up to 50*C in the summer.
AMD 650 Tbird - socket A. The only problems I had were the jumpers on the HDD and the CDROM both set to Master, and the HDD LED was connected backwards (50/50 chance of getting that right). Booted right up afterwards. My biggest mistake was buying a crappy PSU and motherboard. PSU I replaced...
I got an IBM A21M P3 700MHz with a 10G and 128M - Windows 2k runs just dandy on it. I recently upgraded to 320M RAM. Worth the $$. I wouldn't even think of going to Win98. I find 2k to be a bit faster than the XP install I tried.
Well KISS my ass - the damned thing works fine now. The only thing I did was 1) move the laptop from the living room to the computer room, and 2) updated DirectX. Can DirectX actually make a difference? Or did my moving the laptop jostle something back in place? Whatever, it works and I'm happy...
latief75 - The video card I believe is an integrated chip - ATI Rage Mobility, 4M. I couldn't find drivers specific to this over at ATI, so I went to IBM and got their latest. FYI the system in question is an IBM A21M 2628 E1U. I will look thru the advanced settings when I get home and see what...
