Most space sim people go HOSAS (dual sticks) since it helps with 6 DOF flight.
I use dual VKB Gladiator NXT Evos with the ‘space combat’ sticks and have no complaints. Some people get the omni throttle for the left stick but since I don’t play anything else I just went with two normal sticks.
I tried 3.23 tonight and it was not all that great, I managed to run into 3 fairly large bugs in short order. I got my Mole out and went to mine, only realizing that the mining hud is missing in the turrets making it useless. No big deal, I went back to Arc L4 and landed only to realize that...
I payed the first one at launch and kinda enjoyed it mainly due to the false hope it would get better with time which never happened.
Still somewhat interested in a sequel but my expectations are very low.
Owning the game.

They didn’t want to balance save transfers vs starting fresh so everyone starts fresh. If you played the first game and the dlc then you get Leviathan and Ramuh as a bonus, but no...
I just realized that nothing transfers over from the first game, you only get two materia if you have saves from Remake and Intergrade. I’m glad I didn’t grind out materia levels in remake expecting them to give a head start in Rebirth.
The game had almost 0 hype, and the previous game was a top down shooter. I don’t think anyone expected this game to be pushing 500k concurrent players. I played the first one and still wasn’t sure if the move to 3rd person would be handled well.
I think I might finally get it now that things...
Ya that sounds like all kinds of terrible, but if that kind of cash grab helps them keep that garbage out of Elden Ring 2 I am fine with it.
On another note I never finished this originally but I picked it up again this week, I think I’m about 2/3 through so hopefully I can finish it before the...
I don’t know if my brain will let me skip the side quests but that was by far the worst part of the first one.
Town 1: Find lost kittens
Town 2: Find lost orphans
Town 2 return: Find lost orphans… again!
I think the second time finding lost orphans is where I almost gave up on the game.
I wanted to play this season but after 10 minutes of killing mobs in the desert trying to level I started second guessing myself.
It sounds like this season is the worst of the three due to the traps mechanic being annoying and punishing rewards if you get caught in too many traps per run...
I don’t know if you have been following the game at all but it is a live service game. It will have a battle pass and all the other micro transactions that come with a live service game.
That’s why everyone is negative on this game.
Mine has been rock solid, running three cameras and a few APs. I did initially have issues with it running a 3.5" drive for the camera NVR, it was under the rated power limit but kept crashing the Protect app so I had to swap it for a different one.
I don't use VPNs much any more, but when I...
Persistent streaming has been in the game since May and they were testing the Replication layer split in tech preview channel recently. The game will likely have static meshing by the middle to the end of the year.
I don't mind the combat style of the game, I hated the side quests though. I did pretty much all of them and they hardly added anything to the game, just padded the playtime. The last 1/3rd of the game is decent though, and it ended with me wanting to play more so I will be getting Rebirth.
I’ll have to try this again, I did most of my playtime in the first few months of it being available for early access.
It was fun but a bit tedious if you played it the real way so I mainly just used a breaching shotgun to handle the doors or kicked them and prayed that there were no traps on them.
That’s what I thought during the trailer. How did we go from fighting on the front lines in an alien war to hiding from pirates on a junk ship floating down the river? Plus you add in random physics puzzles and the game seems kinda all over the place.
They said they wanted this to be Wing...
There is, it is still not great but it is better than nothing. After you create your character and select your starting planet a window pops up recommending people play the tutorial if they are new. If you hit ‘skip’ then it dumps you into the game with minimal tooltips.
In the future while you...
D3 was a pretty slow game at launch. There weren’t a ton of good items and no +5000% damage set bonuses. Crit chance/crit damage rares were some of the best you could find.
I stopped playing for a while and when I came back after the removal of the real money auction house it was way easier...
Some of the stuff in 3.21 PTU is exciting. It’s super optimistic but if the replication layer testing goes well they might have static server meshing in evocati testing by the end of the year I imagine.
Dual sticks is the recommended setup, some people use an omni throttle for the left hand.
Pedals are good as well if you don’t want to have one of your movement controls on a twist axis.
I would imagine so. I’m expecting slightly better than the planets in Mass Effect 1.
I’m hoping there will be a number of hand crafted main planets/cities but I expect the rest of them to mostly be filler with a few resources.
I’m not offended just letting you know your ignorance is calling out a few people in this thread, that’s all. I can do a simple risk/reward analysis when purchasing games and decide if it’s worth it to preorder or not.
I was hoping to possibly go back to Intel for my next upgrade, but this refresh doesn't sound very good and I would likely have to get a new chipset for whatever follows it next year. I guess I will keep waiting and see what the next series of AMD brings and what Intel is rumored to have next year.
