    10 hours in on a 45 hour print. Multi-color is great but its so bloody wasteful and slooowwwwww. Printing at 0.1mm layers instead of 0.2mm doubles the color switches. :(

    Iso doesn't actually remove oils. Wash it in your sink with soap and a little scrubbing. Then try again. This is a textured PEI sheet, right? Default filament profile with bambu slicer or orca?

    If you are getting failed prints its not because of the speed. Did you prep the build plate? How exactly are they failing?

    I've never put anything on my build plate. Light scraping with dish soap and a scrubby once a month or so and that is plenty of adhesion. Ill probably wait for the generation after meteor lake anyway. Dont need the gaming performance, but not real happy with how the new XPS16 is looking.

    Make sure are on the newest firmware. Bambu changed some stuff recently that drastically cut down on the noise.

    P1S is enclosed. The P1P is open but easy to enclose.

    If you can get a P1S instead do that. Nothing wrong with the A1, but bed slinger printers have their own issues which enclosed CoreXY format solve nicely.

    I sold my ender 3 S1P for a Voron Trident. And sold the Voron to buy a P1S combo. Would do it again. So simple.

    Why don't PC cases have 5.25" external drive bays anymore?

    Necro threads are lame. Still haven't had a dedicated optical drive in my machine since the mid 2000s. I swapped the drive in my laptop for another hdd in 2005. And never included an optical, or anything else in a 5.25 bay, since then.
