You just made my point....either settle with a low quality TN panel that runs anywhere between $200-300...or go for an IPS professional panel that retails for $1399!! Its like IPS/MVA is not even intended to be bought by the average consumer..

Yes...why not...i'm willing to pay more for a quality 22" panel....but it seems that 22" are all TN. I don't actually get it...are IPS/MVA...or whatever they are called....that much more expensive to make? Or are the manufacturers just catering to the bigger demands...that is the gamers...

OK...I can confirm.... the problem was the GAMING HUD software that came with the card, that controls all the voltages and speeds...etc... Uninstalled it....all fine now for ~24 ours... Still I'm gonna buy a PS today...:D

I guess I solved it... It was the Gigabyte Gaming HUD software that is linked to a chip on their redesigned 8800GT that was causing the problems... Still...I know I need a new PS.. thanks..

I have an older 20 pin ATX PS...and I just upgraded like my sig shows...and I plugged the 20 pin into the 24 pin mobo socket...all runs fine...but I have freeze problems described in the previous thread... Is 20 pin into the 24 pin socket ok??
