Thanks, I'll look at the other MB options. As far as the RAM goes, I don't have a problem spending a little more money if it makes sense. I'm just not convinced that going from 5600 to 6000 would provide any real world tangible boost in performance at 4k. I will have to do some more looking...

thanks, yeah i swapped out the ram for what they recommended and got the better video card as well as the power supply you had above. still up in the air about getting the i3 or possibly one of the amd chips. microcenter has some really good combo deals on the amd x4 965 chips right now... =/
