I am sort of considering the BenQ XL2720Z. Even though it is a TN panel it supposedly has above average TN colors and would probably have noticeably better response time than my current ASUS MVA.

Currently using an ASUS VN279QL 27" MVA panel and wanting to try something else. Looking for something the same size that has a little better response time but isn't a TN panel with washed out colors. Anyone tried the MG279Q on a PS4? Will it look noticeably worse scaling from 1440p to 1080p...

Can you use a surge protector like the Tripp-Lite ISOBAR with a UPS and them both function properly? We live in an area with a lot of lightning strikes and so that's always my first concern but I'm wanting to get a good line conditioning UPS for my expensive hardware.

No problem. The advantage to adding an SSD to the PS4 will be dependent on the games you're playing but most will show faster install times especially for digital purchases where you're not being limited by the optical drive as well as faster load times in games. Some games may only show a few...

Doesn't the blur reduction add quite a bit of additional input lag as well as lowers the monitors brightness?

It showed the input lag at the middle of the panel was 10ms which is the same as they measured for my LG 27" 1080p IPS. Not saying it's not good but if input lag is a concern and you're buying for console gaming which makes anything over 60 Hz moot, why go with a TN panel?

I was going to order the newer 32" W7 model but decided to give the 2013 model KDL-W650A a shot first to see what I think of a 32" TV replacing my 27" monitor for PS4 gaming. I got a wicked deal from Sony on a refurb today.

Just found this review from a reputable source of the 32" W7 model and the input lag they tested with their device showed only 14-15ms. Everything else about the TV is also exceptional. This looks like the best 32" you can you buy right now for gaming and picture quality...

I'm interested in the KDL-32W700B or something similar that's 32" with low input lag and high picture quality for console gaming. Can you or someone else link to where it shows the newer W7 model having 30ms+ lag?
