Overall, the build process went smoothly with only the GTX card giving us some initial installation worries that we then overcome through consecutive tries. Performance-wise these things are SPEED DEMONS! No Overclocks here as of yet as well. Frankly I don't need to really... I will post some...

We tried all possibilities -- removing the PSU to make room for the 7900GTX; passing the GTX via different angles to fit through the tight openings, EVERYTHING! In the end, we did manage to install the GTX on my friends D2, but this was such a grueling process that I don't think any novice...

I'm sure there's a fairly sane reason/explanation for the price flux. AFAIK, these Hard Launches hit hard the most on vendors like monarch. It's all about oportunity cost -- so prices are weighted in accordingly. I'd recommend just goin ahead and go for the BFG. I mean how hard is it to reach...

[H]review for the 7900s states that the GT version only has ONE dual-linked DVI ports. If I were you, I'd go for the 7900GTXs for the TWO dual-linked DVI ports that it has to drive your dual 3007s (<--- ENVY!! :D Grrr.. I got a 2405 though...) Hope this helps. - KrulL
