Ours is a Blade SAN (PS-M4110E). Thing purrs like a kitten, just won't recognize non-dell drives.
Not looking forward to moving all the data off this SAN to try the reset option.
We have a PS-M4110E (Firmware 6.0.10) that we are trying to upgrade the drives on but the SAN refuses to initialize them because they are not Dell drives.
How do you get the SAN to accept non-Dell drives? I've seen a few people here mention getting it to work.
Thanks in advance
ASUS just released a new BIOS today (7/3/2014) for the Z97I-PLUS that allows for M.2 boot support of the XP941.
I just installed it and the BIOS can see the XP941 in AHCI mode now. :D
Not trying to derail the conversation, but has anyone tried to installed a mini-ITX 1155 mobo in this with a Sandy Bridge CPU? Based on what I have been able to see, a standard mini-ITX mobo would fit, but you would need a custom HSF solution and there is a chance that the HSF might hit the...
Yeah, only took 1.9+V to get to 6+GHz.
These will be AMAZING overclockers, but you should not promote to people that they will hit even close to those marks.
I guarantee you that was sub-ZERO cooling to get there.
Need to sell these as I do not have a need for them anymore (no more gaming or folding on them) and our first baby is due in under one month.

I was pretty sure that AS5 has a cure time of 200hours of high-temperature exposure to reach max performance.
XCPUs.com found the same exceptional performance out of the Shin-Etsu X23 as well. Too bad the stuff costs an ARM+LEG.
EDIT: and what is up w/ the CHEESE?
Gotta move some of these gems out to make room for an up-coming move and a baby (as well as more HW, of course ).

I think only time will be able to answer that question.
In recent history, Seagate drives have had good reliability. Hopefully these will follow that trend.

Yes, I know, ANOTHER 4870 review.
I'm posting this one up b/c it is actually a good read of how the 2900 series evolved to the 3800 then to the 4800 and the improvements between generations.

Last night he was up to 4.5GHz OCCT stable for 5h on water.
Today he says he's up to 4.9GHz and will get a screenshot when he gets home from work.
Overall it went well.
But attendance was WAY down from the last one I saw.
This is primarily due to ASUS/Intel rescheduling the event from the original dates in July.
