I came across this tool that can take a 3D LUT and apply it to the Windows desktop. This is useful for fixing the over saturated colors on a wide gamut monitor. I use this for the desktop and ReShade for fullscreen games. I am not the author and take no credit for this. Just passing this along...
Upgraded to 3001 (from 2802) on my TUF Wifi. This version doesn't like my manual RAM timings/voltage and I'm seeing the reboots and lockups again. Switching back to D.O.C.P settings seems to resolve. Might try pulling the CMOS battery and wiping one more time.
This is likely to do with what power state your CPU goes into and what voltage changes are required. A few people on this thread have had success manually setting voltages in the BIOS, so I would start there.
I took your advice and manually set the SOC voltage to 1.1 (AUTO was picking the same value) paired with the safe DRAM Calc settings. I haven't had a reboot yet and im 24+ hours in.
The manual settings never worked for me on any BIOS version. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't really have the time to play with the settings and tighten them up. Need my PC up and stable since I'm working from home.
That's correct. The calculator seems to think my kit can do CL14, but it just won't boot with these settings. I'm not surprised. They are rated CL16@3600 and are dual rank.
I tried using the imported values and I couldn't get the BIOS to boot. Never bothered to figure out the issue as I used safe for a while and when that was stable, switched to fast. This was all on the 2204 version of my BIOS.
Switching to D.O.C.P settings and left the computer alone. I came back after 14 hours and no reboots. I'll point out that the calculator settings are close to D.O.C.P., and the voltages are about the same according to Ryzen Master. I may tinker some more to see what setting(s) cause the reboots.
I am fully aware the DRAM Calculator timings are "overclocked" and not supported. I am also aware that I have run these overclocked settings without issue for months on previous BIOS versions. I am also aware the folks at G.Skill have guaranteed that my sticks will run at D.O.C.P. settings on an...
Upgraded to the new 2603 (from 2204) on my TUF Gaming X570-Pus (Wifi). Pulled the battery and shorted the CMOS jumper to be extra thorough. Put in all my memory settings manually (using DRAM Calc fast settings) and booted back into Windows. Ran a TM5 stress test for 1.5 hours without issue...
Just picked up a brand new Vega 64 w/ three games for $399 plus tax.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the 1080 regardless if I keep it or not. It's just too good of a deal to pass up.
If I could get a used (non-blower) Vega 56 for $300 or a Vega 64 for $400 I would, but I have been looking for weeks and haven't had any luck. I always buy used because I like to...
This so hard. I've got a GTX 980 pushing a 32" 144Hz FreeSync monitor that I would love to pair with a Vega 64/56, but the value proposition for AMD is terrible right now. I think I'll just buy a used GTX 1080 while I wait for AMD's next generation in 2020.
After reading through this thread I'm still on the fence between these two cards. I have zero allegiance to either red or green team. I'd like to upgrade my crossfire 7870 Ghz editions as they are struggling to play the latest games at anything above medium settings at 1440p. I've seen both...
Right, but they aren't accounting for CrossFire setups. Better data would equate to better settings, no? I'd like to see what other CrossFire setups are using.
So far it's at the top of my list. I think it has the best features to price combination of what I've seen so far. Upgraded sound and NIC are more important to me than more fan headers et cetra. I'm not an avid overclocker so the G65 doesn't seem worth the extra $40.
Is there any reason not to get one of these for a secondary storage drive in a desktop system? Of course even a slow SSD is going to be faster, but the cheapest 512MB SSD is north of $300.
I'm looking at putting together new PC to replace my ageing Q9450 system. The 660 looks to be the perfect sweet spot of price to performance. I like to use nVidia cards if I can because of the PhysX support.
A colleague of mine got his disc last Friday and said the quality of the stream was better than PlayOn, plus you get the nice GUI. My disc should be in tomorrow so I should be able to see if there is a difference.
I live about 20 miles south of the cape I didn't hear a boom. We were expecting at least a little rumble (we can feel the shuttle some time after it goes up).
