I'm in for the contest.............:)
I'm just to old and set in my ways to ride the metro these days, With all the fools riding on them harassing people and making fools of themselves, I'm afraid I'd go off off on the fools if I was ever to forget to take my meds.
I've run the GTZ and XSPC Delta V3 both on my i7 920 and got slightly better results with the Delta V3. The stock top mounting bracket is a little weak and it doesn't come with a back, so I modded a back plate and made a new top plate and cranked it down tightened and gained a few more...
I don't know how the heat load of a OC'd ATi 4870 compares to your card, but I'm cooling my 4870 with a standard MCP350, single MCR120 and micro Res, all running 3/8" tubing and a 2000 rpm Yate Loon at 7v. This little setup keeps my card at 32c idle and 41c full load (100% load for 30 min.).
Just soak the base of the block in white vinegar and then use a soft tooth brush after about a hour of soaking, rinse with distilled water and you're good to go.............:D
My order just changed form sent to warehouse to "In the shipping process" as of today at noon, so maybe something will come of this order and I'll get my card.
Yes your card is built on a reference designed PCB. And under the stock heat sink there is a separate heat sink for the VRM's that is held on by push pins. The VRM's will still get real hot with the stock cooler removed and the stock sinks left on the VRM's, it will still need fairly good air...
The mesh came from a security window manufacturing company around here where I live, a friend of mine used to work there before he got laid off due to slow business.
It's real nice heavy guage stuff that comes pre powder coated, so its cut and install.
I'll have to ask him if he can find...
I just reinstalled my DD double 5.25 res the other day...............:D
It's like 4 or 5 years old now I think and there isn't any problems with it.
I got it way back when I built my first external box.................
4.0ghz can be a pain in the but with a Q6600, but it can be done if you're lucky and get a good chip..............;)

Thanks............:)
I'm wanting to build another rig and use the H2GO as well, it just wasn't out at the time I got mine. The H2GO would make for a great LAN box IMHO.............:D
The pump can be mounted in any direction except with the motor above the inlets as per instructions from Laing and Swiftech.

Here's a little OC I got out of this board with my new Q6600, I'd have to say that it's a pretty fair OC'er..................:D. I will admit that I still need to OC the ram a bit, but all in good time as they say.........................;)

Like Met-Al stated, just get a universal type of waterblock like the Swiftech MCW 60 or something, that's what I've been using from the day they were released, it's fitted on every card I've had, ATi and Nvidia alike...................;)
Just getting started with my first Quad..................:D

I just got a L804 from Frys today and it has a VID of 1.30.......;)
So far it seems to be a fairly good OCer, I've got it running at 3.6 GHz @ 1.375 load in the bios. I might even try pushing it a bit higher later on just for S&G's.
Whatever floats your boat young man............:D
As for hurting my feeling, give it your best shot, children can't and will never be able to hurt my feelings.................
