I reread how to clear the CMOS I forgot to remove the ATX conection from the motherboard that fixed it for the next time I booted it detected the right CPU.

So I have a shuttle AK38N, it uses a VIA KT333CF NB and VT8235 SB. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version which support the Sempron but when I set the jumper on the mainboard to 166 FSB the system will not boot. I have PC 2700 Ram. I don't know what to do. Any ideas would be helpful.

I was cleaning some themo paste off of an AMD t-bird processor and I took the 4 little pads around the edge right off. Whats should I do leave them off or use super glue and reattach them?

Quick Question -- You can use a Regular ATX power supply with a Flex motherboard Right, the only think you have to watch for is the ATX standard power connector on the motherboard.

How much performance would I lose by not upgrading to a 8x AGP bus? Is their a reason to upgrade to an 8x AGP motherboard if I would be using all the same parts, and yes the video card is able to run in AGP 8x mode.
