Would it be worthwhile to go from the Single core 3700+ with 1MB cache to one of these dual core that only have 2x512k cache? See a performance hit? Or an increase since its adding another core?

Better as in what? I wont pay the $1000 or whatever for the FX60, thats for sure. And I wont go M2 as well, its new (new shit has bugs) and I just built this rig in December.

Currently have a single core 3700+ and thiking about the X2 4400+. Any issues I should be worried about? Is dual-core really worth it? I game and photoshop and so on. Yay? Nay?
