I am looking for two models in particular:
- Asus ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XBH8TW/reviews/asus-rog-strix-b550-i-gaming-mini-itx-am4-motherboard-rog-strix-b550-i-gaming?rating=4
- MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard...
Old thread, but I manually overclocked and dropped my 5600x temps a good bit. Done with two different cpus and two different motherboards. People claiming manual over clocking with AMD is dead, but it seemed to make my rigs run cooler and they still perform well according to cinebench.
This. The more foolish consumers that take these price hikes the more GPU vendors will continue to raise prices.
They're their own worst enemy.
That's what I've done the past several generations. This shit is ridiculous. Clearly gaming is not my primary hobby.
Try not to take it too personally, hard is full of salty old guys. I won't pay the early adoption fee, but I'll try it when it becomes available for free.
Yeah, they had listed it for $450 a few weeks ago and I laughed. I logged in to refresh some of my listings and saw they dropped it to $275, I messaged them offering $250 and they said yes. I was shocked to be honest.
The sad part is the 1650 super would be $130 used if it weren't for the state of the world. Alas, that isn't the current reality and we are where we are.
Will definetly be looking at ARC for my media server.
The two most common breakers in the US are 15 and 20 amp.
Multiply that by 120 volts and you get the max watts, though it is recommended you not exceed 80% load.
120*15=1800 watts and then *.8 = 1440 watts.
120*20=2400 watts and then *.8 = 1920 watts.
Wow, I hadn't thought about that. I was looking for a 1650 super and using hacked drivers.
Now I'm more intrigued by Intel's GPU. Do we have any indication as to pricing?
I thought this my monitor only did 144 when 10bit hdr is selected. I think it was mentioned in the video in 1136.

Depends, do you plan to overclock the CPU and GPU?
I say that tongue in cheek, you should be good. Though it should be noted the FTW3 version can consume a little over 500 watts, not sure about the suprim
ehh for the price that 5%-10% is not worth it. Wait for the next gen, mabe you can get in and out at no cost depedning on the used market, but if you can't you are tossing money away.
I can't speak for Intel, but I get better temps along with better numbers manually setting my 5600x to 46 @ 1.2 volts compared to using PBO. I'm a good 10-15c cooler.
Well of course, you'll have to buy the equipment, but if means being the only trustworthy monitor reviewer out that there you'll more than cover your expenses with your subs, patrons, and ad revenue.
I decided to check out your channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwPvdwZZ35dm6xozp-zpcpQ/videos
You seem to be very much into emulators, pixel graphics, and tirades. I'm sorry this display doesn't meet your needs, feel free to not purchase it. Also, I'm sorry you find HDTVTest to be...
He released that video on the 26th. I didn't see it posted.
I went back to page 24 which has posts from Thursday, the 24th, and went forward and didn't see it. If I missed it, sorry.
Edit: I see it it was at the top of the page and it was a hyperlink of the title. I was scanning for a...
