got my replacement today... got to love onsite warranty.
so far so good... no pixel problems, tinting, etc. playing around with settings (mac user).
Anyone else using it with a mac?
ugh! I received my monitor today and after setting it up and turning it on, nothing happened. Okay, so its DOA... then I see that the bezel is ever so slightly warped (the box is in good shape)... then I try to disconnect the displayport cable only to find that it won't come out.... I pull...
hmmm debating between this and the U2410...
are the extra inputs on the U2410 (hdmi mostly) worth $90 over the hp which is not wide gamut and has better coating?
yes, there is a selection sampling bias because this is a technology forum where a disproportionate number of people know about/understand the tinting issue and are going to post about it
As stated in the thread (many times), Rev 01 only corrects dithering issues in sRGB mode... the tinting is a panel manufacturing/quality control issue that affects many LG IPS panels (including non-Dell IPS monitors).
Couple Points
The benchmarks are bottlenecked by the graphics card. Conroe has the same performance as AMD only because the video card is at its limit. I dont think current cards, even in SLI/Xfire , can change this
Everyone has to realize that while Conroe does nothing (now) for high end...
i dont think that this will affect most "dell" users because this DRM is focused on ultra high resolution, "premium" content, meaning you will need to purchase a high end, ultra high resolution screen (with HDCP of course) to even utilize the extra features.
it reminds me of people who buy...
read this indepth review of the razor, before you make your purchase
http://dansdata.com/diamondback.htm
even though the reviewer's a lefty, it doesnt matter because the diamondback is an ambidextrous mouse (mx 518 is not). the two mouses are not compared so the best choice is to at least...
hello
i just wanted to suggest that if u are getting 2 6800gts in sli, you might as well buy one 7800 gtx (or rumored Ultra) for the same performance and price
thermochill used to make waterblocks.
i think they are still interested in making kits (they do have a reservoir and rads... all they would need is a block)
hi
i dont know if this is posted elsewhere but what exactly is the difference between the
DFI Lanparty UT SLi-D
and
DFI Lanparty UT SLi-DR
and
DFI Lanparty SLi-DR
yeah most retail products come with adapters.
that being said, atx 2.0 power supplies should have both connectors (and most new power supplies are atx 2.0 or a little older)
yeah the retail models have full warranty, which is why i would prefer to get the retail, but most of the time, the difference between oem and retail is NOT 50 dollars, maybe 5-20
uh waht does intel explicitly have to do with windows/linux? wahts this intel stigma?
and
whats so great about powerpc, other than the fact that all your software is written for it?
