I snagged an Nvidia 3080Ti FE from the BestBuy restock a week ago. I wasn't planning on it, but figured what the hell and the line wasn't terrible so I figured my chances were decent. They even had leftover 3090's after everything was all said and done.
I recently added another NVMe drive for the steam library due to space, but I am curious on if a NAS solution would be beneficial in the long run. I'll keep an eye on your thread to see how it works out for you if you should try it.

I would suggest maxing that rig at 4GB of DDR2-800, you notice a nice improvement without breaking the bank. 775 is still an excellent socket, but I wouldn't invest any more money into it then you have to, save up for a Sandy build which will be a nice upgrade from what I assume is a C2D or Quad.
