Well if you case, mainboard and PSU are one unit. So its 400$ of waranty that are void if you change something on your SN25P. Dont know how you take it in the US in fraternities: But in a fraternity nothing should even have to remote chance of being stolen.

Shuttle has so wonderfull bags... Just take your SFF everywhere you go to :). You could pull a thin cable through the screw hole that normally close the case and than sling the cable arround a heating radiator or some other tubing on the wall.

I got my SN25P and started it without a graphics card... just to try. First a full blow of all fans ... than they simply went more quiet. Than I started it again, after I added the 3rd hard disk it did not went quiet as before.... Anything to fear? Well there is no graphics card.. no...

Yes i ordered the Gigabyte card yesterday... maybe I should try to change the order (somehow it takes quite long for them to send it to me). The alternative is that I simply put a 80mm or 120mm fan on top of the card.

Well I would consider the SN26P from a different POV: Considering the number of dual GPU cards that are currently being released one is not forced to have 2 PCIe16x slots in order to reap the benefits of SLI. So the 2x PCIe16x is only the solution for those who want to constantly upgrade...

Well as far as I know this will also be a problem. The discs will degrade more slowly (especially as they are secure from sunlight) but they are degrading and - this is my experience - after 3 years most dvd or cd drives will have problems reading them.

How big is the difference in time it takes to start a memory intensive program, relying on very big files, between a Raptor and a Seagate/Samsung SATAI/II drive? Somehow I would guess the Raptor would win by a reasonable bargin.
