    Sony A95L QD-OLED (New for 2023)

I purchased one of these and picked it up back in early Sept, had to drive to BB warehouse to pick it up. The reports are real, this display is the best I have ever seen, also own an s95b, a80j, LG c1. Let me know if you guys have any questions, to me the Sony tax is totally worth it.

I'll be honest I would have to see them side by side IRL to believe this.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

That is interesting, what monitor did your friend have. I feel like modern day LCD (even moreso with OLED) look so much more crystal clear than CRT used to and now with these high refresh rates the motion and movement is 10x better.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

They have already announced 49 and 77 inch models for 2023 so I would think they would have announced 42 as well if it was coming in 2023. There are some concerns around text color fringing with the current pixel structure of QD-OLED.

    42" OLED MASTER THREAD

Anything over 1800 watts is going to trip that breaker, and that is 1800 watts on the whole run, so whenever the breaker flips and power is lost, whatever is down at that time is on that same run and cannot go over 1800 watts at any time or it will trip that breaker. BTW I am not an electrician...

    RTX 4xxx / RX 7xxx speculation

Same, for FPS such as battlefield it's keyboard and mouse on the local monitor. For other games it's nvidia shield gamestream to the living room with controller and TV/Surround sound.

So if video card prices stay elevated for years, then what happens?

Then I will move to consoles for gaming and integrated graphics for computing.

    i7 7700k to i7 12700k worth it ?

I would wait for ddr5 pricing to come down as well as some more pci-e gen 5 stuff to come out and then make your purchase. I only recommend this since you seem like a 5 year builder (7700k) and if you are looking for future proof you are going to want this new technologies, it's just that they...

What are some Ubiquiti Unifi Alternatives? or Z's Ditching Unifi for Good Thread

Came here to post TP link and TordanGow beat me to it. I haven't reached your level just yet but I do see the writing on the wall. I never got into their video stuff or their security stuff, never had any reason to. I tried their UDM and UDM Pro lineup and ended up just re-purposing an old...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

Honestly i would love to do a comparison between a g-sync monitor and just high refresh to really see what g-sync provides. I was referring to a couple of games who have studdering with gsync where you have to make a custom game profile and disable g-sync and enable variable sync. the two for...

Yeah there is also the main fact that i could run the RVU setup on this and watch directv directly on the tv without the need for a box which is very interesting for me. I really think this is going to be the best option for me as a large computing and gaming monitor as the YT videos of...

Sony 900f/900e as a computer monitor

Has anyone tried this, looking to get a new computer monitor and everything good 32-42 is like 800 bucks and if i am going to spend that kind of money i want some real HDR monitor with some real size. I noticed the 900e/900f have 1080p@120hz which would be great for fps and also can switch over...
