Funny enough I have the G3223Q monitor next to the Acer predator. The colors look very similar. When in HDR mode on the desktop the contrast seems better on the dell over the acer when adaptive dimming is turned off. Gaming wise no contest the Acer is superior. I've been staying in SDR mode...
I do have to say the OSD is pretty bad on this monitor especially when compared to the LG 950 I had before I purchased this one. LG 950 would do auto HDR this does not. The OSD reminds me of the really old Korean IPS monitor menus from like 8 years ago. I'm still on the fence if I will keep the...
Dimming is def broken on this monitor. In fact on black backgrounds you can clearly see the halo effect around the mouse which I know is a weakness to these panels so it's best to just disable dimming completely. Without the dimming zones and some tuning this monitor is pretty damn good looking...
I got the monitor to look really good with hdr on and adaptive dimming turned off but having adaptive dimming turned off kind of defeats the purpose of this monitor as that controls the FALD's. I do have to say gaming on this is amazing. I was playing MW2 and the HDR highlights were so...
I did the latest update and it did fix an issue I was having with the HDMI connection stating in a small boxed window that input was not supported. However, I had to use a different docking station for my work laptop because the monitor would not recognize it on my regular docking station. On...
I just set up the X32FP and my initial impression of this monitor is very negative. I will check to see if it's on the latest firmware and play around with it today but this seems very inferior to the LG 950 in every way.
I currently have an older LG 850 1440p GSync which I love but I'm in the market for a 32 inch 4k monitor and yesterday I purchased the LG 32GQ950. I'm not sure the reason but this gives me eye strain the moment I started using it, the same way the old Samsung CH series did. I will be returning...
Something doesn't add up. If the 3090 is only 10% faster than the 3080 with more cores and 24gb ram why are we even bothering waiting for the 3080 with more onboard ram? Doesn't sound like it would make much of a difference.
Are you getting any crashing? I had a similar issue. My fans would spin at full throttle then I would crash. Turned out it was a defective card I had to replace.
I don't think every processor is created equal. My first 9900k ran really hot at 5ghz and I ended up returning it. My 2nd one runs so much cooler and I am able to hit 5.1ghz on it.
If the quality check out on these I will definitely be making the move to them. I was using a 40inch 4k tv as a monitor and I loved the size but the ghosting and lack of vrr was a dealbreaker for me.
This TV is mostly used for gaming. I tested a couple of titles like Destiny 2 and others and I actually preferred the QLED for gaming. I game almost always with the light on and the extra brightness levels from the QLED really helps with that.
I had both the C8 and the Q8FN (both 55 inches) in my office and I felt the Oled was very slightly better than the QLED picture quality wise. Personally speaking that very slight picture upgrade isn't worth it when it means I have to baby the set and be careful how I watch content especially for...
I consistently have issues getting below 1tb a month with comcast. I only have 50gb free until the end of the month in 2 days. I can understand a 1.5 or 2tb cap but comcast's 1tb cap is not enough for my family of 5. Unfortunately, I have no other option in my area except for comcast.
