Cool.
Where can I look for deals on the monitor?
And say I want to game, but I don't want to spend a crapload on a video card. Should I just buy something to tide me over now, then wait for DX10 cards to come out?
Got some questions for you smart folks here in this thread.
What nVidia video cards have two dvi-d ports on them?
And where can I find a good deal for a beast such as this.
Well, I'm not completely sure where to post this. But I'm pretty sure it's a problem I'm having in XP itself, so I'll ask here.
I recently purchased an Avocent Switchview 2-port DVI switch. I have everything hooked up properly, but my PC won't pick up the signal from the usb hub. So it won't...
Holy shit. This is exactly why I didn't want to make a thread about this. My problem was fixed on the first page. We've had enough Creative VS everyone else threads to go around.
Thanks to the people that helped me on the first page.
I've had this sound card for a while now, and like it quite a bit. My question is, does anyone else have issues with it and Quake 4? For me, it won't let me put it on surround sound and it tells me my sound card doesn't support "OpenAL." I don't even know what OpenAL is.
Does anyone know if...
What the hell is OpenAL? Apparently my sound card doesn't support it. =\
HDA Digital X-mystique 7.1... The DDL card. It won't let me put it in surround mode, so I guess I'm stuck with my headphones for now. =\
Nope, they have a widescreen option though... but it only makes your fov higher to make 1600x1200 stretched out look good.
I'm having a problem audio-wise. It won't let me set my speakers as Surround. I'm using the HDA X-Mystique with Optical out, and it won't do it. =\
Hi there! I have a 4400+, and was thinking about OC'ing it to 4800 speeds. Or higher if I could get them.
But the real question I have is, will I actually be able to see a change in my games and stuff? I mean does the 200 mhz between 4400 and 4800 really make that big of a difference? I don't...
I got the card recently and love. Don't notice any sort of lag whatsoever when playing games, and if I get a framerate loss, I don't really notice it either.
Dude, that's like saying you like blue colored ketchup instead of red. It still tastes... errr plays, the same. You don't need 180 fps...
Only problem I'm having is that I can't for the life of me get the USB ports to work consistently. It's like they'll flash on for a few seconds, then flash off... dono wtf it is.
I have pretty much the exact same specs as you and I run 1920x1200 Guild Wars beautifully.
Oh and I haven't been in this thread in a looong time, and was just gonna say I've had this monitor for a few months now, and I still have no dead pixels. It's kinda nice :D
Ok this may seem kinda strange.... but I have no buzzing noises on my 2405.... until I turn it OFF
Yeah, I know weird... and I have to be like within 2 ft to hear it... but when I turn the monitor off i hear a really high pitched noise... coming from the right side. Weird eh?
Wtf is it for? I bought a coax cable for it, and my audio won't work. My Logitech Z-680's just sit there and try and detect them. Is it not used for 5.1 out? Is the optical port my only choice?
WOOT!!! I got mine today.. and so far all I've been able to do was play Halo 2 on it...
Are there any games out there that support 1080i?? All my games are 480p... =(
But it's freakin beautiful.. and my screen doesn't buzz... and from what I can tell.. 0 dead pixels, but that will take...
Can someone tell me how Dell's pricematching works? I've heard that if a coupon comes out or something i could call and get my price knocked down.. but I'm not sure if that's true or not.
Alright, well I ordered it from Brad today.
I read something in another thread about pricematching... I didn't use a coupon code or anything like that when I ordered, so could I call and get that coupon credited to my card? Or call up and tell them that so and so got a lower price with order...
I e-mailed brad about 30 minutes ago and he just gave me a call. he said 925 + tax with free 2 day shipping... should I take it or should I wait for one of the other reps to e-mail or call me back?
He may be right, but I still have to set a number to stop screen tearing from occuring.
I'm gonna go ahead and guess 60hz cause that's what my 17" samsung is
Anyone happen to know what the refresh rate on a 17" powerbook LCD is?? I can't find it anywhere and I'm trying to get my v_sync to work for quake and doom and stuff
