I do not have any problems finding a match and I was up at 1 AM last night in a game where the server was nearly full.

I don't know but what I do know it it runs fine on my old 6 core 3.3 gig AMD Bulldozer core w/ 16 gigs ram, 290x amd gpu at Ultra settings. Single player is in the works. Its an alpha. Be patient. haters gona hate.

What your getting from Descent on Steam is compatability on modern operating systems in a turn key solution at 3.50. So take how much you make per min at a job and divide that into 3.50 and then ask is it worth your time to make a 21 year old game work vs steam.

Freespace was one of those weird Brian Fargo deals. Basically Interplay held the publishing rights. THQ via Volition held the I.P. (ship names, characters etc etc) When THQ imploded Interplay picked up the remaining I.P. for 7,500. I would not be surprised if we see a Freespace...

Almost at 1/3 funding.. not bad.

It is my understanding that ALL the ships in game can be earned via playing. 25 bucks isnt jack if you even get a few hours of enjoyment out of it.

I would assume Freespace is on the drawing board.
