bummer. not really possible to crush an ihs covered chip tho. might have bowed you board enough to cause some problems. i ordered both a while back and tried each on a 8500 @ 4.25 w/ 1.4v and the Sunbeam was better by a 4-5c for me. it is a more substantial rig than the xig as well.

I did a TON of research and the cheapest good calibrator is an i1Display 2 - there is no such thing as a worthwhile $25 calibrator unless you score at a yard sale.
