The Moto X unlocked is running around $349 from Amazon at the moment. I thought about picking one up to tinker around with, but kind of want the One M8 a bit more (though it is a bit large for my liking).

HTC One M8 uses nano as well. Though you should be able to get a screen replacement from Apple for $149 depending on what you have. You can also pick up sim adapters pretty cheaply as well if you want to be able to easily switch between phones.

You can use Outlook and Export/Import them to a PST file. You will have to fix the permissions after the fact though. Depending on how large they are, you may need to create several PST files, but I'd recommend doing that anyways if you're dealing with a lot of them.

The apps themselves do not use backup space. The saved data from those apps do. Music does not get backed up to iCloud either. So it is just that saved data and photos/videos.

Whether or not it has removable memory, they do at least give you a choice of how much memory you can have. I don't recall seeing a particular Windows Phone having multiple options in this regard.

You should be able to use one of the aforementioned DVI to HDMI cables and/or adapters. You will need to run a separate audio out from the Mac Pro if you want audio coming out of the TV or a receiver.

Thanks for the benchmark and model number, I found the model of someone's 750GB 5400 RPM (Toshiba MK7559GSXF) and compared the passmark between the two. Good bit of difference, of course they don't give the hard numbers you gave just an overall score. Not sure if I should get the 750GB 5400RPM...
