Corsair has had their Vengeance 32GB C36-5600 in stock for a bit ~$390. They have started to charge tax on the website though, so still puts it over $400.

For you new MacBook users (or even if you're not new), do yourself a favor and check out the gestures tutorial for the trackpad: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204895 When working with full screen apps (or even when using RDP to Windows machine), being able to quickly switch between all of...

    WWDC 14

I think realistically you'd probably only see about 200 ft at max (not accounting for interference). Of course this will depend on all devices involved and we don't (at least I don't) know the specifics of Apple's Bluetooth implementations for each device. But I can easily see exceeding this...

    WWDC 14

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_low_energy http://www.bluetooth.com/Pages/low-energy-tech-info.aspx Says it can operate at over 100m (330ft) away and uses frequency hopping to counteract interference. I'd say that's a fairly reasonable distance away. Not across a whole house, but next...

    WWDC 14

To me it seems to be using iBeacon, which is based off Bluetooth LE: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6048 and Airdrop: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5887 Now it's possible they may have expanded iBeacon to Wifi, but we'll see. iBeacon/Bluetooth makes the handshake between the devices and...

    Verizon Earnings - Trouble Ahead?

AT&T's planned LTE coverage by the end of the year looks fairly on par with Verizon's: http://www.att.com/network/en/img/2014_coverage_map2.png With Verizon overselling their LTE bandwidth in my area (consistently hitting 1Mb), their in-store treatment of myself when I bought a full price...

What android phones use a nano-sized sim card?

The Moto X unlocked is running around $349 from Amazon at the moment. I thought about picking one up to tinker around with, but kind of want the One M8 a bit more (though it is a bit large for my liking).

What android phones use a nano-sized sim card?

HTC One M8 uses nano as well. Though you should be able to get a screen replacement from Apple for $149 depending on what you have. You can also pick up sim adapters pretty cheaply as well if you want to be able to easily switch between phones.

Any Exchange 2003/2010 experts willing to share some knowledge?

I was referring to exporting of Public Folders to a PST using File > Open & Export > Import/Export (in Outlook 2010/2013) and not Copy/Paste (the estimated time given sounds like this). Though 18K emails shouldn't take that long unless you're talking about quite a few gigabytes. Even then I...

Any Exchange 2003/2010 experts willing to share some knowledge?

You can use Outlook and Export/Import them to a PST file. You will have to fix the permissions after the fact though. Depending on how large they are, you may need to create several PST files, but I'd recommend doing that anyways if you're dealing with a lot of them.

Windows 8 & Jump Remote Desktop on iPad

Anyone else using this combo? I have to admit it is pretty slick. It has made the upgrade to Windows 8 worth it for me. Get to play with the multitouch gestures and Metro UI without buying a new Surface. Performance of RDP from a remote site has been very reasonable as well. Check out...

Im an Apple hater and i bought an iPhone (AKA how the bionic turned me off android)

And Google charges $50 to jump from 8GB to 16GB in the Nexus 7... There are valid reasons for self-contained memory as it definitely makes it easier for the OS developers, as even stated by Google themselves when the Google Nexus came without microSD. Even the early Windows Phone 7 phones...

The one feature Android needs from iOS

The apps themselves do not use backup space. The saved data from those apps do. Music does not get backed up to iCloud either. So it is just that saved data and photos/videos.

Im an Apple hater and i bought an iPhone (AKA how the bionic turned me off android)

Whether or not it has removable memory, they do at least give you a choice of how much memory you can have. I don't recall seeing a particular Windows Phone having multiple options in this regard.

    Maximus V Gene problems!

Try disabling PCIE Link State Power Management in the Advanced settings of Power Options in the Control Panel. I think it may be an Nvidia driver problem. Or a combo of Asus BIOS and driver. Though with your most recent post it could be hardware.

Newegg Warning, learn from my experience

Connect Mac Pro to a new 50" VT25 Plasma TV?

You should be able to use one of the aforementioned DVI to HDMI cables and/or adapters. You will need to run a separate audio out from the Mac Pro if you want audio coming out of the TV or a receiver.
