Im another one of those guys who wasn't too enthralled by acrylic cases (ie: tangled nasty wires w/ mismatched cathodes and LED fans), but absolutely everything about this case is just so hot. You have definitely given me a happier perspective on acrylic. And your son is one lucky recipient...

Looking at the pics of your old desk made me wonder what kind of finish you are putting on this new desk when you are done. Personally, I love the lighter shades of wood. I've never been a fan of dark stained oak, or anything similar. Now, I don't mind Cherry for moulding, trim, etc... but...
