i think they make deals with manufacturers using rebates, instant rebates and other forms. compUSA probably didn't do any of that.

It used to be that either compusa or circuit city would have a good deal, you could just go into the store and grab your latest greatest video card. Now it's between best buy and microcenter. This ATI situation doesn't help. Best buy can pretty much do anything, their only small competitor...

The difference is $11. I got the bfg gtx 260 card for 160$. I can return it and exchange it for 5770 for 11$ more in the store. Worth it? I ran 3dmark06, I am running 16,200 range score. 5770 as seen online scores 2K more and plus DX11 tech... Thanks!

well the good news at least the new firmware updates the write speed to 100MB/s for the 160 gig X-25M

80Gig G2 drive, win 7 x64, looks good flashed in ACHI mode. Did some benchmarks, read speed about 2MB/s slower, write speeds I believe around 10MB/s faster.

I noticed this question is never asked. But in Win 7 you can run on Microsoft SSD drivers or Intel. The one with bricked SSD, ran Intel or MS? I am curious if something to do with MS drivers.
