Worth flashing BIOS of Maximus Formula to Rampage Formula?
I recently got an Asus Maximus Formula and I'm wondering if its worth flashing the bios to the Rampage Formula. I will be overclocking my e7200 to 3.6-4.0ghz soon and will be running crossfire soon. Will I see any improvements or should I just forget about it?

I flashed a P5E over to a Rampage BIOS to prevent vdroop. I flashed it right away, so I really don't have any personal comparisons to draw between the P5E and the Rampage BIOS. I had heard the P5E vdroop could be corrected with the Rampage BIOS, and, lo and behold, I get hardly any vdroop. If I had bought a Maximus, I'm not sure I would've done the same thing.
I'd read this thread over and see what the actual differences are between the Maximus and Rampage. The P5E BIOS is an inferior BIOS to the Maximus, so my choice was easy. I'm simply uncertain about the Maximus BIOS in contrast to the Rampage. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179580 I'm not sure if the Maximus BIOS has the option to change the tRD or not. The Rampage does have that option. It can also be switched via MemSet 3.5, however, if it doesn't. tRD (or Performance Level) has a respectable influence on RAM performance. I can't imagine it is going to make that much of a difference personally. I used the Maximus, but got rid of it before the Rampage came out. I probably would have flashed it.
