itunes alternative?

looking to transfer some songs to my ipod touch but dont want to put itunes...is there any other alternative.. will be u sing win7

i just used sharepod
simple as can be,btw i didn't have itunes installed for months and wanted to update one song, had to download itunes9 for sharepod to work, but did not have to use it (sharepod needed the itunes drivers i guess).

i just tried songbird with ipod add-on and it wont let me transfer

You need to install iTunes anyway to get the drivers. Once you've done that, give it another shot.

Free version should do everything you need it to. It syncs my iPod just fine and works great in Windows 7 to boot.

I prefer Winamp, also syncs Ipod and works great in Windows 7. Personal preference, try them both

Go for Songbird, works very well.
