I just Installed the cards and everything runs smoothly.. . I tested them with Red Faction and NFS Shift both at max quality settings 1920x1200 60MHz.. and APC PowerChute recorded around 230 watts.. I understand it's not accurate but how far off can it be??..

PS: The noise is unbearable....ordered the accelero's 2 minutes after installation..

Pretty far off. Like 40 to 50% off.

What you need to do is just be patient and save your money to buy a new PSU and then put it in at the same time as the 2nd card and then sell the old PSU. As it is you may or may not be fine, but you'll be trying to sell that PSU once you replace it and then you'll probably lie about the load you had it under, or it won't sell. Anyone in the market for a totally abused PSU? I didn't think so.

You are just asking for trouble just for a small increase in frame rates on your nice new i7? And you're reading all of your numbers in the most optimistic way. Personally I wouldn't risk it. I'm pretty sure that without the best of luck you'll be getting a whopping zero frames per second on a compute with a blown out power supply, and you also risk damaging your cards.

@ Danny Bui: Ok... if it is THAT far off, is there a more accurate software?

@Earley: it's not about patience. I did save my money and I bought this PSU which costed me 150 euros..That's a lot in my book for a PSU.. but more important than that is silence and as i have stated before this is the most powerful fanless PSU I could find at the time, and still is, if I am not mistaken. If you know another fanless PSU that delivers more power I would love to consider it even though It would be pretty difficult to find a buyer for my PSU..
Also FYI I am not a hard-core gamer and I am not after frame rates etc. My thing is silence while flying near the sun apparently :P.. I understand I am acting irrational since everybody tells me not to go through with this but I need to try. maybe cause "i've got no plans and too much time"..

As Zero82z said, there's no software out there that can measure wattage accurately. However there are hardware out there that can measure wattage accurately. However the cheapest is $140

though so.. I have a friend though that may have the equipment to do it..I'll see and say..

Update: My friend will come on Saturday so I'll have an accurate reading of power consumption then..
Until then.. I replaced my second HDD with a WD 1,5T Green and installed the Accellero S1 rev2 on both GPUs. They work like a charm.. Max temp while playing Dragon Age Origins with maxed out graphics 1920x1200 8xAA: before:109/after:66 Celsius!
