:-P sorry.

I mostly have used mid-range Plantronics gaming headsets like audio90s and the like.
Usually it seems that headphones that make impressive claims about good sound just have obnoxiously loud bass like they are trying to cover their faults. However, these seem to have a very fluid and seamless decibel range.
The directional sound isn't bad either. First person shooter games are much better with these compared to my surround sound system.
Let me know how you folks like them!

there is no volume control.
There is a seperate patch cable with the mic attached to it so it is part of the cord about 6" below your chin.

I got mine yesterday. I've only used them for a few minutes to listen to some music, but I don't think their that great. The bass was not that good, and the treble sounds "tinny". I'm not one to use headphones much at all, so don't take my word for it. Their ok for $10, but I certainly wouldn't have paid full price.

wow, these headphones SUCK.

compared to my Audiotechnica ATH-A500s they blow goatrope. the Aerial7 Tank headphones have very muddy bass and lack definition all the way around. everything sounds mushed together. glad they were only $10! gonna be giving them to a couple nieces for xmas anyway...so no loss. but for the $80 pricetag around the net these things might be worth ebaying...

my girlfriend has the same thoughts about the headphones. we both did listening sessions of 2-3 different high bitrate mp3s and switched between headphones...

edit:

just did a comparison with a dubstep song. datisk - retreat
for this type of music...probably goes for rap too...these headphones actually sound quite good. deep bass is clear and loud.

yes well since theyre normally $80 and thats after the fruit premium, theyre probably actually $50 headphones. $50 headphones for $10 isnt that bad, especially if you were interested in the fruit aspect. comparing them to $120 headphones is just not playing fair. unfortunately i wont be able to try mine until thanksgivingish... i hope i like them ok, as im not a huge audiophile.

Wow, these things are truly awful. I don't even think they're worth $15.

My $30 JVC's sound about 100 times better than these things. The only use I could find for this is listening to something like Nickelback, just so I could hate them that much more.

I just got mine today. I ordered two pairs, and one of them seems to be defective. Sound plays, but it is very tinny and lopsided; the right earpiece is punchier and louder than the left. The other pair works fine and has above-average sound quality. I'd never pay $80 for them, but I would guess they compare to any $40-50 pair.

Take home message: make sure your headphones work correctly before you make a value judgment.

Also, my packing slip didn't include the price I payed. Maybe they'll refund me the full price in-store...

Mine are working fine, they just sound awful.

Well, they're not the worst headphones I've ever heard or anything, but in comparison to my JVC's they sound like ass.

Well all I'm saying is that if you don't have a second pair to compare, you may never know if a pair is defective. If the sound quality is really tinny and weak, then it might be an issue with the driver itself, because these are not weak headphones (yes, for $80 they are weak, but they are not weak in the absolute sense of reasonably priced headphones)

It's not tinny and weak, it's just muddy and not clearly defined.

They don't sound defective, they just don't sound good.

I was hoping they would at least compare favorably to my $30 JVC's, but unfortunately they do not.

Oh well.

lol ehhhh now I regret buying them since your JVC spanked them. I guess I'll compare them to my $6 Koss KSC-75 but the Koss will probably blow them away .

Edit: Just tested them right now and they totally suck compared to the Koss, not even gonna compare to my denon or I'll probably cry listening to these.

Sound is very muddy and bass is thumpy yet have no extension whatsoever. Sounds horrible... guess I'll give them away or let my dog chew on them haha.

Edit#2: These are absolute trash. Sounds like the Sony MDR-V150, which is absolute trash also.
