Single, Dual... whu. Yeah another nubbin
So after many years of it not being necessary I've caught the overclocking bug a bit so I'm ready to go the watercooling route
Asus Rampage II Extreme 920 D0 @ 4.1ghz w/205bclk and 1.29v 3*2GB - Corsair Dominator DDR3 PC3-14400 C9 PowerColor PCS+ 4890 GPU Enermax Galaxy 640W PSU (Getting replaced when I replace GPU) Silverstone TJ07 Case (Had it 3 years and never watercooled, crime really lol) Then the devices that everyone lists but don't seem to have anything to do with the price of fish when it comes to watercooling, cept I hate cabling the f'ing things. 2*Samsung PB22J 128GB SSD's 3*Samsung F3 1TB Drives Plextor DVD/RW, it's black. So as far as the watercooling goes I'm thinking of just cooling the motherboard and cpu using a single loop then at some point before Christmas I'm going to add SLi 5870's to replace my 4890 and watercooling those as well (getting some blessed relief from the noise of the 4890 zomg) So the kit I've sort of pencilled in based on the stuff I've read so far is;
Now that seems fairly self explanatory, waterblocks and pump is easy but feel free to comment. Now what I'm stuck on is reservoir and radiators as I can't find many guides on doing larger watercooling setups. I'd got it in my head to just add a second DDC in there with a loop for the GPU's but I was just guessing. Really I need your guys help with a few questions Do I get a single radiator now and a second one when I add the SLi 5870's Can you do two loops through a single radiator, does that not cause pressure issues. Is two loops even necessary or is it just like 2 degrees difference. Is it worth getting the additional mosfet watercooling adaptors for my motherboard. I've got a luxury of space because basically the entire bottom of the TJ07 is empty apart from the PSU as I mounted my hard drives in the 5.25 inch bays so theoretically I can fit in the 480 Radiators and could even fit two in if needed but obviously don't want to do it if its pointless. Now I know I can get cheaper components but I'm not really that bothered on cost, I won't be one of the asses that says money is no object as it obviously is but I'm quite enjoying my little overclocking adventure so I don't mind dropping a bit on it so it works to the best that my limited skills can deliver. Any help is appreciated. Ta Iratus

I just setup my w/c last night
Noobs unite lol.Many people have said, and I have seen plenty of tests and such...The enzotech sapphire performs better then the GTZ, and is cheaper. Here's the link to the Enzotech...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835708019 You'll need the 1366 mounting kit. It's on the bottom of the page (by the "Customer's Also Bought")...Or here's the link...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835708048 Check out my thread, I've asked tons of nooby questions ![]() http://www.hardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1452376 I went a little overkill on my w/c setup. I got 2, triple rads just for my cpu, lol. I got them mostly for looks, they are mounted on the side of the case. Wanted it to look unison. From what i've read it may be best to do 2 loops one for cards and one for cpu, but as mentioned before I'm still learning...

LOL!? Learn your grammar, its say not said!
Its the same general concept. SLI and Crossfire both do the same thing. Contributing to the thread usually helps. ![]()
