Need thoughts on these voltages

I currently have my Q9550 @ 3.4 GHz with a vcore of 1.2V which I'm happy with.

RAM: 2x2gb Crucial Ballistix 800MHz
VIDEO: EVGA GTX 285 SC

My FSB is at 400 MHz, using a P5B Deluxe with beta BIOS that's running experimental higher-than-normal FSB for the CPU.

FSB termination voltage: 1.4V
NB voltage: 1.45

Anything less for these 2 voltages, and I see a framerate drop in games... are these "safe"..? The next lower choices for these 2 would be 1.3V for the FSB term, and 1.25 for the NB voltage..

Any help would be appreciated!

If you are seeing "framerate" drops in games by lowering the FSB or NB voltage I would suggest its a placebo effect if the rig is stable, 1.4v (don't go over this) for FSB on a 45nm quad is a good bit to the high side, drop it until the OC becomes unstable in IBT/Prime....That's all that will really have any effect. 1.45v on the NB also seems a bit high.

Hm... I see.... would 1.25V be too low for the NB voltage?

Only way to know is to set it to that and test to see if the system is stable.

Bah, it was unstable in WinXP, but now that I have Win7 installed, I guess I'll test again.

The FSB voltage is more of a worry to me than the NB, 45nm chips are very picky about FSB voltage and can be fried by it.

For your reference, here are my stable 8.5x400 settings:
Code:
DFI LP LT P35-TR2 (BIOS: LP35D919) | Intel X3360 @ 8.5x400=3.40 GHz
 266/667 MHz Strap CPU Vcc=1.12500 NB Core=1.370 CPU VTT=1.310
TWIN2X4096-8500C5D 4 x 2Gb @ 5-5-5-15 @ 1,000 MHz (4:5) @ 2.100V
1.4 is kinda high in my opinion. You might wanna drop them down and test with linpack. Also consider using 0.63x on the CPU GTLs.
