Help to choose Raid-6 card.

Hello everyone!
Long time reader, first time poster.

Starting new server build for a friend soon and i'm looking raid6 card. Will start with 10x500gb drives in one raid6 partition. Rest 6 disk are 2TB drives in non-raid.
Usage is raid6 for torrent/network sharing and non-raid for storage.

Disks will be in some kind of 5in3 backplanes.

These 3 card have couch my eye.

Highpoint RocketRaid 3540
LSI Logic SAS/SATA MegaRAID 84016E
Areca ARC-1260

Price wise they right on the money. LSI and Areca are available right away, Highpoint is in backorder 4weeks.

OS is probably a Microsoft product.

Any goods, bads with these cards i should know before purchasing one of these Expensive cards.

Many thanks!!!

Truthfully I went with a high point 4320 and use a chenbro sas expander.. Reason for this is if you ever want expansion its easily available through just another chenbro sas expander. I suppose all 3 would use a sas expander though.. But I've never used an LSI or Areca.. There are 2tb green drives at newegg right now for 139..

It has ONLY 8-ports! If you look at the 3 cards that couch my eye, they all have 16-ports.
