Trying to get 3d03 to pass, but it is a tough bench.

You should post results of 3dmark05. It will give a better idea of how the card is performing against other. (there is a whole thread of 3dm05 scores)

3DM01 has always been a CPU favoring benchmark. Try one of the newer ones that stress the VC more.

None the less, that is a great score.
 
This made me go download all the 3D mark programs and see how I did, I was rather disapointed, I think I am CPU LIMITED big time at the moment. Here are my scores:
3D99 = could not get it to install, anyone have any suggestions?
3D00 = 18362
3D01 = 23103
3D03 = 15244
3D05 = 8095
3D06 = 3631
Not very good if you ask me, only tweaking I did was move the slider in the control center to Best Performance, everything is at stock speeds in the system below. Like I said, I think I am CPU limited with the Athlon 64 3200.
 
With the system in my sig, (x1800xt 256) i got 8219 in 3dmark05

So i dont think you are doing too horrible

Yes, but without a strong video card, you wont have good nature or car high scores, so yes -- video power can be shown here...
 
do a 06 run i would like to see how it compares to my x1900XT Flashed to a XTX Toxic score
 
I will do new 03/05/06 runs in the next few days, I have one problem to fix first:

wow, a 10gb hdd. You could probably score a new hdd on the forums cheap, if you feel the need.

I have a couple 200gb sitting here, as well as my 3*185gb stuff, just all my larger HDDs have been dying :(

It is just a matter of ghosting or re-installing.

I think im re-installing with server 2003 :)
 
and this is with stock cooling or ATi's dual slot cooler? makes me wonder how this card will do under water...
 
Under the stock X1900XT cooler @ 100% fan speed. I used AS ceramique to mount it...

Do not forget, 194$ card :)

Probably not so well. Most electronics actually don't work that well under water...
