I'm currently doing the following build
Intel Conroe 6400 overclocked as much as I can on air
965 board (Asus P5B or P5b-Dlx, Giga S3, still cannot decide but that is another issue)
2 DVD drives (Writer and player)
Scythe Mine (Looks like it will fit inside the TJ05 wind tunnel)
2 Sata hard drives 1600 GB 7200 RPM (no raid)
2 GB Patriot Memory DDR2 5300
2 120mm fans and 1 80 mm Fan
X1900GT (look to upgrade in the future maybe crossfire)
All on a Silverstone TJ06
PSU Im looking at in no special order
1- Sunbeamtech NUUO 550W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709004 (I think this is the one reviewed by Jonny) no PFC and 1 PCI connector plus 1 adaptor for PCIe
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709003, it says PFC PF Value 0.95 ~ 0.99 and 2 PCIe connectors
Are they the same? Looks like the second one is better? Modular and cheap

2- Silverstone element 500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817256008
Not modular but looks very solid and inexpensive

3- Corsair 520
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817139001
Solid and Modular higher price
Review http://www.jonnyguru.com/PSU/HX520W/
4-ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194003
Gathered info from this form and other sites, modular solid and inexpensive
Can u see a recurring theme here most of them are Modular (prefer modular but open to suggestions) 500W more or less, stable for good overclock and not to expensive. (75$ to 130$)
I need it to work with a Silverstone TJ06 case, this case mounts the motherboard upside down and cables need to be long.
Sooooo, would these supplies be good enough for my plans? I think I might be cutting it close with 500w and if I want to do Crossfire in the future it might a bit too much right?
Should I just spend some more then on a 600w Liberty, Silverstone, Corsair or OCZ GameXStream 600 or even go to 700?
Also it would be very nice if the PSU can help with the cooling of the case, most of the air that comes in from the 120 mm fan in the TJ06 case goes right out through the wind tunnel, and that case only has an 80 mm fan for the rest of the case
Priorities
Fit in Silverstone TJ06 case with long enough cables
Stable for good overclock
Price
Modular
Thanks for looking and hope you dont mind the long post
