VX2025 Problems

I know some people have had difficulties with the VX2025's DVI function crapping out on them, and unfortunately I've experienced this same problem. But I've also had the monitor performing some other odd tricks. Eventually I realized I could no longer set the monitor to its native setting of 1680x1050. Instead the closest I could compromise with was 1600x1240. When I'm logging into windows, as the green loading bar is going across the scree, the monitor will also lose its picture for about a second. It also does this whenever I click on the Nvidia settings icon on my taskbar. I've tried using another monitor with my computer and it will work perfectly fine. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these problems?
