There are some 160.1's for Vista, too. Saw 'em in the Guru3D forums. Problem is, it straight up breaks OpenGL support. A few OGL games work, but not many.

Everything's running through my Samsung 61" 1080p DLP. It's not perfect, but it'll do until I eventually take the 240hz LED plunge.

Wait, no more Quake 2, there might be tears.

How are the Vista ones preforming or anyone try them? I haven't even tried the last batch of BETA drivers. Anyone found any more stuff in the newer drivers regarding DX10 support in XP?

Keep in mind that Prey, Quake 4, Doom3, and CoD use OpenGL, so it's not just id classics that don't work.
I tested them out on a few other games with no issues. I guess the people that had scaling issues are claiming this fixes that problem.

Are they going to address this or are they gonna drop support for more and more classic and modern games that alot (strange, though true) of people still play. I hope on Q3A for some stress relieve every now and again, better the co-workers

I'd suspect these aren't done and likely weren't intended for normal use. Granted my Q4 has been broken for a while, everything else worked.
I'm going to guess we'll hopefully see a driver that brings temperature control back and fixes OpenGL fairly soon. I dunno HOW soon, but I'd guess when R600 Nvidia will at least do *something* even if it isn't a world beater.

My mistake, they're 165.01's

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=221563

I wouldn't bother with them unless you've had scaling issues. They've cause more problems than they've fixed for me.

Actually now there are some 165.03's on Guru3D.
Quake 4 still crashes, but at least it'll start up. Some people reported crazy gains in 3DMark, too.
